Recruited from JDSU USA to fill key post in product line management. Tundra ( now IDT) is a leading
provider of bridge and switch interconnect and transport integrated circuit products to the leaders of the
telecommunications, military, and datacom markets such as Cisco, Ciena, Nortel, Fujitsu, Huawei, Alcatel,
Ericsson, Nokia Siemens, Tellabs, Motorola, NEC, Curtiss-Wright, Xerox.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Product Line Marketing and Management:
Senior Product Line Manager Tundra
Manager of several complex product lines ( P&L responsibility) and product strategist. Owned roadmaps,
MRD's, PRD's, ECN's, PCN's, EOL's product business cases, NPI team leadership and executive gate
reviews, pricing, partner and customer programs, cost reduction programs, long-term product business
projections and monthly/quarterly reporting. Led annual face-face portfolio price negotiations at top accounts,
approval point for all other quotes. Member of product investment strategy task force.
Actions/Results:
• Grew margin % by 4 points and drove new PCIe bridges; over-achieved margin objectives.
• Brought viable product ideas to Tundra most notably an SoC and new Intel bridge chip opportunities.
• Achieved solution partner status with Intel, the world’s leading PC micro-processor company.
• Increased inventory turns from 3 to ~8 through tight control of forecast and distributor inventory.
