Background
Md. Mamunur Rashid Molla is a Senior Vice President in Mutual Trust Bank
Limited. He was a student of Business studies group both in SSC and HSC.
His SSC was in 1988 from Lokhipur Government High School. He achieved
1st division. Her HSC was in 1990 from Chittagong Commerce College. He
achieved 1st division. He completed his BBA and MBA both from Chittagong
University. His major was in Finance in both the cases. He passed out in 1994
and get 1st class in BBA and He passed out in 1996 and get 1 st class in MBA.

Work Experience
He started his carrier in 1996 in AB bank. He joined Mutual Trust Bank 2002
and still He works for the same bank.

Salary
His monthly salary in about TK. 850000 per month but some portion of his
salary cut down for providing his additional benefits.

Additional Benefits
Md. Mamunur Rashid Molla gets some additional benefits. The Bank provided
him a car when He became Vice President. The fuel costs of the car are bear
by the bank. The bank gives his telephone bill which is included in his salary.
He gets 20 day annual leave. He also gets insurance benefit.

Job Responsibilities
Md. Mamunur Rashid Molla executes the managerial responsibilities in his
Dilkusha branch. He performs the managerial activities along with the general
banking activities. His responsibilities are to make sure the branchs banking
activities are carried out well by the officers and staffs, after the transaction is

closed for the day He check the balance and sometimes permits the client to
open the LC accounts.

Evaluation
He has been with the organization for a long time. He has been promoted five
times from the day He joined in Mutual Trust Bank Limited. For his extreme
hard working and his dedication towards the organization, the board of
director honored him and recognized his quality service that He provided his
organization. The board of directors is very pleased with his performance and
also his senior and junior co-workers apprise her for that. He is very pleased
with his working environment and all He gets from his hard workings.

Justification
I think the salary and the monetary and the non-monetary benefits that He
gets from his organization are perfect. The company recognizes his
dedication in a very well manner as Md. Mamunur Rashid Molla is given very
much respect and honor from the entire executive committee of Mutual Trust
Bank Limited.

Mr. Choudhury Mostaq Ahmed is Senior Executive Vice President and Head
of Branch which refers that He is a brunch manager in Mercantile Bank
Limited. He appeared in S.S.C. examination in Humanities group from
Babugonj Bilaterul High School, Babugonj, Barisal, in the year of 1965. He got
first division in his S.S.C. examination. He gave his H.S.C. examination from
B. M. College, Barisal from Science group in the year of 1967. He got second
division in the H.S.C. examination. He studied BSC from B. M. College,
Barisal. He was in science background in BSC and He passed in 1970 with
third division. Then he did M.A. in Journalism from University of Dhaka and
passed out in 1972 with second class marks.

Work Experience
He has 32 years work experience in Banking. He worked in Jannata Bank for
29 years. Then He moved to Mercantile Bank in 2006
Then He joined in Mercantile Bank as a Senior Vice President in 2006. Now
He is Senior Executive Vice President there.

Salary

The salary of Choudhury Moshtaq Ahmed is 131,000/Tk. by adding some


other benefits. From the salary the taxes are deducted and then he is being
paid the money.

Additional Benefits
Mercantile Bank Ltd. provides Choudhury Moshtaq Ahmed some additional
benefits and those are:
Five bonuses in a year.
Provident Fund.
Land phone bill 2000/Tk. and Mobile bill 2000/Tk.
Leave fare Equal to one months basic pay. 15 days are obligatory
leave must be taken.

Choudhury Moshtaq Ahmeds responsibilities are to conduction of Banks
meetings for any department. In all company matters He is in charge of some
department. He has to do lots of works in the companys decisional making

Choudhury Moshtaq Ahmed is a very hard working experienced banker. He is
well satisfied with his job. He is very much determined to his job. So the
company promoted him to Executive Vice President (EVP) from Senior Vice
President (SVP). He has a well reputation in the banking sector of
Bangladesh. He is very promising banker for the Mercantile Bank Ltd.

Justification
I think He should pay more and should provide more benefits. The bank does
not give him insurance and car benefits. According to his experience he
should be more paid and given more benefits. So I think his salary should be
around TK.150, 000.

Mr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain is a Senior Vice President in Dutch-Bangla Bank.
S.S.C. examination was Held in 1967. The name of his school is PE Railway
High School. He was belonging to the Humanity group. He achieved 1 st
division in his S.S.C. examination. Then in 1969 He appeared in H.S.C.
examination again from Humanity group. The time he got 2 nd division marks in
the H.S.C. examination. He completed his Honours in 1973 and He achieved
2nd class. He did Masters in Economics from Dhaka University and completed
with 2nd class in the year of 1975.

Work Experience
Mr. Md. Mosharrof Hossain started hiscareer as a banker from 1977 in Janata
Bank. He worked there for 12 years. In 1989 He joined in Dutch-Bangla Bank
Limited and still he works for the same bank.

Salary
His monthly salary in about 150,000/Tk. but some portion of his salary cut
down for providing his additional benefits.

Background
Dr Rahnuma Ahmad is a child specialist doctor. She appeared in Secondary
School Certificate Examination in the year of 1993. He got first division with
star marks and 4 letters. He appeared in High School Certificate Examination
in 1995. Her H.S.C. result was first division star marks and 6 letters. Both in
S.S.C. and H.S.C. He was a student of science. Then in the year of 1973 He
got chance of studying in SylHet MAG Medical College. He studied there till
2000 and then He completed her graduation from there as a MBBS doctor.
For more learning purpose He went to Ireland for her post graduation.

Work Experience
He did her internship at Medford Hospital, Dhaka in 2001 and He completed
her internship in 2003. Then joined in Dhaka Shishu Hospital in the year of
2001 and stayed there for one year. Then she went in Iran as a physician and
worked under the Ministry of health in Iran. Now at present she has become
Senior Consultant and Deputy Director in the Shishu Sasthya Foundation
Hospital, Mirpur.

Salary
The salary of Dr Rahnuma Ahmad is 30,000/Tk. as a senior consultant. She
does not take the salary of Deputy Director as she works honoree for that
post.

Job Responsibilities
Dr Rahnuma Ahmad is a Senior Consultant and Deputy Director of Shishu
Sasthya Foundation Hospital, Mirpur. Now her responsibilities are to control
the doctors and nurses of the hospital. The whole medical part of the
administration is controlled by her. She concerns about the human resource
department of the hospital. Hes responsibilities are:
The whole HRM department (doctor, nurse and staff) except logistics
are controlled by her.
He supervises the activities of the entire hospital.
He has to go for a round to check whether the patients are well treated
or not.
Visiting He patients twice in a day and look over the history of the
patient.
Taking the major decisions about the serious patients.

Job Evaluation
Dr Rahnuma Ahmad is a very satisfied person to be a part of the Shishu
Sasthya Foundation Hospital as the whole hospital is a family to her. From the
very beginning she has been a major part of the hospital. Sir Dr. M R Khan
likes Dr Rahnuma Ahmad very much and relies on her and gives the full
authority to run the hospital. So in the very friendly environment He is very
happy to be a part of her. The doctors and nurses under her are very much
satisfied So those prove that she is a very well deserving person for that post.

Justification
Dr Rahnuma Ahmad does not take any additional benefits and she also does
not take the salary of Deputy Director. As she is satisfied in her job, I think
30,000/Tk. is well enough as she would not take more money than that she
gets now. She works in the hospital for 15years and she does not take the full
salary and does not take any other benefits so I think He deserve more. But
the problem is if she is offered more she will not take it.

Md. Shafiul Azam is Deputy Manager in Information Technology Division in
AKTEL He was a student of Rongpur Cadet College. He appeared in S.S.C.
examination and achieved 1st division marks in 1991. His H.S.C. examination
held in 1993 where he also achieved 1st division marks. In both S.S.C. and
H.S.C. he was belong to Science group. Then he entered in University of
Dhaka for BSC in the year of 1994 in Computer Science and passed out in
1999 with 1st class marks. For his MSC he again admitted in University of
Dhaka, and in this time he passed with 2nd class marks in 2000.

Work Experience
Md. Shafiul Azam has almost 9 years of work experience. Earlier in his career
he worked in different workplace. Now for last three years he has been
working in AKTEL.

Salary
He is salary in earning 60,000/Tk. per month. From this salary the company
cut an amount of money for the taxes which is a rule in the AKTEL telecom.

Additional Benefits
He gets some additional benefits. Such as: child education benefit, Annual
Leave Fair, Two EID Bonus, Accommodation, Cash Out and overtime.

Job Responsibilities
Md. Shafiul Azams responsibility is to Leading and managing Partner
management. Those are related with:
International billing
International roaming
Credit Management and financial units
He also needs to manage the billing service department and also the IT
division.

Job Evaluation
AKTEL provides less salary to its employees. But Md. Shafiul Azam is quite
happy by receiving this compensation package. He is satisfied but sometimes
he thinks that it would be very pleasure if he gets more salary and benefits.

Justification
I think that Md. Shafiul Azam should get more salary as he perform many
tasks and responsible for a very important sector of AKTEL.
