O our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower and
accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One who Accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

Allahumma arinal-haqqa haqqan warzuqnat-tiba'ah, wa arinal-batila batilan warzuqnajtinabah, bi rahmatika ya arhamar-rahimeen.
O Allah! Let us see the good as good, and bless us with following it. And show us the
falsehood as falsehood, and bless us with staying away from it, with Your mercy, O Most
Merciful!

Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my protector and helper in this world and in the
hereafter, cause me to die as Muslim, and join me with the righteous.

Allahumma Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyoom, bi rahmatika nastagheeth, aslih lana sha'nana kullahu
wa la takilna ila anfusina tarfata aynin wa la aqalla min dhalik.
O Ever-Living! O Self-Subsisting! and Supporter of all! By Your Mercy we seek assistance, rectify
for us all of our affairs and do not leave us to ourselves ever for the blink of an eye or less than
that.

O Allah! Make sufficient for me what is halal (lawful) and to dispense with what is haram
(unlawful) and enrich me with Your Favours so that I need no one but You." (Tirmizi)

Narrated Shaddad bin Aus (RA): The Prophet ( )said, The most superior way of asking for
forgiveness from Allah is:
Allahumma anta Rabbi laa ilaaha ila anta, khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa
ana alaa ahdika wa wadika mastatatu, Audhubika min sharri maa
sanatu, abuuu laka binimatika alaiyya, wa abuuu bidhambi faghfirlee fa
innahu laa yaghfiru dDhunuuba illa anta.
The Prophet ( )added. If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on
the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites
it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of
Paradise. Sahih Bukhari
Meaning: O Allah, You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created
me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise (to You) as much as I
can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the
blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to
forgive all my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.

rabbi innee aAAoothu bikaan as-alaka ma laysa lee bihi AAilmun wa-illataghfir lee
watarhamnee akun mina alkhasireen
O my Lord! Indeed I seek refuge in You that I ask You of which I have no knowledge. And if
you do not forgive me and have mercy on me, indeed I will be one of the losers. (HUD: 47)

O Allah! I ask You for knowledge which is beneficial, and sustenance which is pure, and
deeds which are accepted. (Mishkat)

Narrated Sad bin Abi Waqqas (RA): Allahs Messenger ( )ordered for the following statement:
Oh Allah! I seek refuge with You from miserliness; I seek refuge with You from cowardice; and I
seek refuge with You from being sent back to geriatric old age; and I seek refuge with You from
the Fitnah (trial and affliction, etc.) of this world [i.e. the Fitnah (trial and affliction, etc.) of AdDajjal etc.]; and I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave. Sahih Bukhari

Allah! Grant Your favor upon Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as You have favored
Ibraheem and the family of Ibraheem, You are full of grace, Most Glorious.

Laa ilaaha illallah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahu l-Mulk wa lahu l-hamd,
wa huwaa alaa kulli shayin Qadeer. Allahumma laa mania limaa atayt
walaa mutiya limaa manat walaa yanfau dhal-jadd mink al-Jaddu.
There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, Alone, He has no partner, To Him belongs all
Dominion and Praise, and He is able to do all things. Oh Allah! None can withhold what You give,
and none can bestow what Your withhold; and brilliance and magnificence of its possessor cannot
benefit him from You.

O Allah! Indeed I ask of You, sound health, chastity, trustworthiness, good character and
contentment on whatever is decreed. (Mishkat)

O Allah! I seek refuge in You lest I do shirk though I am aware of it, and I seek Your forgiveness
for that (shirk) which I have no knowledge of. (Musnad Ahmed)

O Allah! In Your mercy I return, so do not leave me in charge of my nafs (ego) even for a blink of
an eye and rectify for me all of my affairs. There is no God but You. (Abu Dawood)

Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us
leaders for the Muttaqn. (pious)." (Suratul Furqaan:74)

O Allah! Purify my heart from hypocrisy, my deeds from any kind of Ria (boasting), my tongue
from lying and my eye from treachery. For indeed only You know the treachery of the eyes and
what lays hidden in the breasts. (Byhaqi)
Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated that she asked the Prophet, peace be
upon him, O Messenger of Allah! What dua should I make during Laylat al-Qdr (the
Night of Decree)? He answered:
Say: O Allah! You are Forgiving, and love to forgive, so forgive me! (Allahumma innaka
affawun tuhibbul afwa fa fu annee (Recorded in al-Tirmidhi)
