NEW ALLIANCES TO DEFEAT STATUS QUO

OF CHILDHOOD HUNGER IN MALAWI

Feed the Children office in Malawi will unite with

Government, Development partners, Local Councils,
private sector, the donor community, NGOs and
Communities to tackle the root cause of childhood
hunger in Malawi.

Since its founding over 35 years ago, Feed the Children

has been implementing child feeding programs in America
and around the World in 18 countries including Malawi.
Today, Feed the Children realizes that childhood hunger is
a complex and deep-rooted issue that cannot be tackled
single-handedly or through a single approach.

Feed the Children in Malawi is working towards ending

childhood hunger through the Child Focused Community
Development Program and other donor funded projects
through a comprehensive and intergrated approach to
help disadvantaged children, their families and communities
to achieve self-sufficency.

Feed the Children (FEED), one of the worlds leading

anti-hunger organization announces a new Vision and

hunger in Malawi. It will take donors to believe in the
cause, experts to diagonize the problem and innovate
solutions, organisations to pool their resources and expertise,
communities to work together towards sustaninable
development and leaders to institutionalise change.

Feed the Childrens work in Malawi centres on supporting

children, their households and communities under its four
program pillars: Food & Nutrition, Health & Water, Education
and Livelihoods.

Since 2009, Feed the Children has fought hunger in

Malawi by providing food, water and education to
those in need. The non-profit has grown into an
organization that unites to defeat childhood hunger,
empower families to become independent, innovate
new ways of doing things and defend childhood.

The new brand reflects the organizations renewed

commitment to do more together so that more children
can just be children and no child ever goes to bed hungry.
In its newly defined identity, Feed the Children is set to
pursue new alliances with various stakeholders including
government, development partners, local councils, private
sector, donor community, NGOs and communities to
defeat the status quo of hunger and end childhood hunger.

To demonstrate this new mindset, Feed the Children office

in Malawi has within its Country program partnered with
