ten countries world-wide, Manufacturing Quality acceptance in excess of 95% and customer complaint
rate well below 1% through a demonstrated ability to build from a greenfield and scale.
o TissueLink Medical Accelerated Market Launch for a laparoscopic mono-polar cautery device that
achieved $3.5M in critical first-year revenue as the champion of urgency. Achieved 100% fulfillment
and COGS savings of $700,000.
o Implant Sciences Corp. Key driver for corporate growth that launched the first commercial
product to market and met the hockey stick demand curve that generated commercial revenue of
$7M in the first year of commercial operations.
Lean Manufacturing, Gross Margin:
o IntelligentMDx - Elevated Raw Material and Finished Goods inventory accuracy from well below 50%
to over 93% in five months through a commitment to Continuous Improvement in practices.
o Corindus Vascular Robotics - Achieved a 22% reduction in consumable material costs in 2010, and an
additional 48% reduction in the consumables material costs in 2013 through proactive Supply Chain
initiatives. Initiated the transition of durable sub-system manufacture from an overseas OEM to a
domestic partner to achieve ~40% transfer price reduction and < 1 year payback through a relentless
commitment to profitability.
Project Management, Design Transfer, Manufacturing Integration:
o C.R. Bard, Cardiopulmonary Directed design and manufacturing transfer of proprietary technologies
for the production of a Class III medical device; orchestrated the acquisition of $1,000,000 in
manufacturing capital; the creation of a $1,000,000 cGMP production facility over a 15-month period,
and Manufacturing Start Up in 24 months from date of contract through a daily commitment to
project schedules, and high energy leadership.
o BioProcessors - Negotiated a $1.5 M outsourced contract manufacturing agreement on a High
Throughput Screening machine; and negotiated a $200,000 savings in outsourced design and
manufacturing services.
o Implant Sciences Corp. - Established an outsourced manufacturing strategy to add near limitless
virtual capacity without additional headcount. Established a mutually beneficial $2M+ outsourced
Manufacturing and Distribution Agreement through win-win collaboration.
