Conquest continuance
Cortes established the towns of Vera Cruz, thus making him
have liberal political independence as the governor.
By the time the Spaniard go to conquer and destroy the
Aztecs, they have millions of Indian allies that also want to
destroy the Aztecs.
Along the way he proselytizes all the Indians and builds
churches.
Montezuma hesitates when the Spaniards come and this
becomes fatal to him and his people.
The Spaniards capture Montezuma and members of the royal
family and hold him for ransom to control the city.
Panfelio was sent from Cuba to defeat Cortes, but what
Cortes does is go back to Vera Cruz and kill Panfelio over
night and then returns back to Tenochtitlan.
Pedro de Alvarado was left in charge but for some reason he
massacres several members of the noble family of the Aztecs
and this enrages the Aztecs and this starts the war between
the Aztecs and Spaniards. It was getting out of control so
Cortes said they had to leave.
La noche triste All the Spaniards and his Indian allies try to
leave the city without the Aztecs noticing. But the Spaniards
slow themselves down with gold. The Aztecs notice and a
new war starts. Cortes and a small amount of Spaniards
escape but the most of them got slaughtered and sacrificed.
After this, smallpox breaks into Mexico, infecting the Aztecs
massively. While this is happening Cortes is gathering all his
forces.

Cortes blows down the Aztecs walls with canons by doing so

strategically all around their city and after several days of
bloody fighting, Cortes wins.
Conquest of Peru
The leader of the conquest of Peru is Francisco Pizarro,
Diego Amalgro and Hernando Luque
Pizarro was just a peasant in Spain who arrived around the
time of Cortess conquest.
Pizarro and Amalgro go to Central America to find Indian
civilizations to gain glory and gold.
The second of their expeditions is not so successful but they
do capture a gold-filled ship.
The queen and kind of Spain gave him permission for further
expedition and make him the governor of Peru because of
this.
They also had captured two young Incas and these become
their translators.
By this time Incas were having a succession crisis because
smallpox had killed their leader and his son. It was between
Huscar (rightful heir, legitimate son) and Atahualpa
(illegitimate son, but is an amazing military leader).
Atahualpa holds his brother Huascar hostage so that he
becomes the Incas leader.
The Spaniards capture Atahualpa and his followers fled the
Spaniards because their weapons had no effect on their metal
shields and armors. Atahualpa discovers that all they are
looking for is gold and he makes a deal with Pizarro that he
will give him all the gold he can find for his liberty and
Pizarro agrees.
Almost upon his release from the Spaniards, Atahualpa
commands that his brother is to be killed before he takes this
to his advantage, but Pizarro double-crosses Atahualpa and

has him executed. He then declares Huascars other brother,

Manco Capac, as his ally and the Incas leader.
Pizarro however abused of his power intensively and this led
to the Incas to revolt aggressively.
