A federally chartered entity created to provide liquidity in the mortgage industry by purchasing mortgage loans from
primary lenders. Freddie Mac contracts with hundreds of financial institutions (counterparties), many of which are
major Fortune 500 companies, to service a multi-billion-dollar mortgage portfolio.
Approved and managed all aspects of voluntary and involuntary terminations and suspensions of
counterparties with a high degree of tact, professionalism, and tenacity.
Strategically planned the logistics for the timely and safe transfer of thousands of mortgage loan files and
notes and millions of dollars of custodial funds in connection with terminations.
Maintained strategic communication with impacted counterparties to minimize and deescalate tension
and to facilitate the best possible transition.
Worked with business units to ensure internal controls were established in order to identify noncompliant Seller/Servicers
Reviewed Seller/Servicers policies and procedures to ensure adequate internal controls were in place to
maintain compliance with Freddie Macs requirements.
Worked closely with the companys internal legal department and developed a high level of familiarity
with the legal risk analysis related to the various types of adverse actions.

Handled the appeal process for counterparties that challenged the adverse action decision made with
respect to them.

Worked with senior bank officials to ensure that the funds in the terminated custodial counterparties
accounts were transferred to bank accounts specified by Freddie Mac.
Conducted onsite accounting and audit of the mortgage loan files to ensure that all files and required
documents were present, prior to the transfer of the portfolio to the interim servicers.
Maintained a close working relationship with Freddie Macs internal legal department during onsite
recoveries.
Worked with internal and external counsel to provide deposition testimony and prepare court
documents on behalf of Freddie Mac, in connection with challenged terminations.
Performed financial analysis to ensure counterparties compliance with Freddie Macs accounting policies
and contractual terms of business.
Performed daily cash flow analysis and ongoing reconciliation of bank accounts to trial balances.
Developed procedures, job aids, flow charts and training sessions to resolve Adjustable-Rate Mortgage
(ARM) discrepancies.
Routinely participated in forums to provide ideas and solutions for customer service and customer
management improvements.
