DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EVENTS & WORKSHOPS

What's the Drill?

All of our R.O.C.O.S.O. Workshops are titled as such and they are each given a
subheading corresponding to their topics. Our #1 Workshop is an introductory workshop,
introducing the drill for the week ahead. Our #2 Workshop will outline the drills to identifying
an abuser and how to defend yourself in such cases. Then, our third drill for the week is
suggestive to great ways to spending quality time together as a family. There is no sign-up
necessary for these workshops. Come and join us, get informed, empowered, and have a
great time doing so.

For the Love of Baking

Our Kings County wide bake sales community challenge, will be a great way to fund –
raise in your own community and adding a little competition, with all the bake goods that you
deem profitable. Have fun, sell as much as you can, tally your numbers and your team might
just win great prizes! If you wish to participate in the bake sale please fill out the sign – up
sheet inside the Campaign envelope and fax it or simply call us and we will do it for you !

Love, Love, to Love You

A Valentine's themed Dance, a great event to dance the night away with your loved
ones, fund-raise, and have a chance to win free-giveaways. Make sure you bring everyone
you know and love that's 19+, of course.

Show Off Your Love – Family Pageant

We are in need of Judges for the event. If you would like to participate as a category
Judge fill out the Judge sign-up sheet and fax it or call us! Families must sign up with a
minimum of 3 members and for at least one category. Every family registered will have a
chance at winning Family Popularity My favorite number is 5. So there are 5 categories to
this pageant and 6 winning prizes. A sixth prize will be awarded to the family that participated
in the most categories.

1. Family Fashion – If you enjoy and your family enjoys the runway and all its drama, or
would simply like to try, then this is the category for you! Show off your catwalk in your
family trends! Whether you go casual, or formal, or maybe fishing gear, it's all about the
personality of the walk!
2. Family Talent – All the members of the family participating must perform. Maybe you
will do an act of a Shakespeare play and make the judges cry, or maybe you will make
them laugh with a comic strip, maybe you will awe them with music. Whatever your act,
the challenge is, all the participating members of your family must perform.
3. Family Skills – Does your family always get credited for great team work? Well, this is
your chance to show it all off!
4. Family Values – What are the values that your family lives by? Tell the audience, tell
the judges, and make sure its convincing!
5. Family Popularity – Every family will have a box in which all of the guests can drop
money into, if at the end of the night, your box has the most $$ then your family won
this category. This will give every member of the audience, to role as a judge too!

If music be the food of love... - Benefit Concert

...play on! From Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Shakespeare thought that music was the
universal sonnet to love, and I am inclined to agree. This Benefit Concert is focused on fund-
raising as much money as possible. So sign-up, share your love for music, lure the audience
into falling in love with every note, and have fun!

Love for Individuality – Individual Fund-raiser

I truly belief that there is a lot of power to an individual's creativity and resources. This
challenge gives every individual in King's County an opportunity to fund-raise as much as
possible. Show your support for this campaign and have fun expressing your individuality.
After a long day of fund-raising, tally your numbers and have a chance to win great prizes!

We'd Love To Thank-You ! - GALA

We will tally the fund-raisers' numbers, award the merited participants, congratulate
ourselves on a job well done, eat great food, and enjoy great local fiddling! A perfect way to
end the week. All event winners are invited to attend this event. As well as all volunteers,
