What is Instructional scheme?

Instructional schemes are special learning plans/ arrangements which permit
structural flexibility, collaborative teaching, and resource sharing aimed at individualizing
and maximizing intervention for special child.

WHAT ARE THE INSTRUCTIONAL SCHEME

1. Pullout within the room
The child with special needs enrolled in a regular classroom maybe
individualized without removing him from his homeroom.
This type of scheme allows the child to be his own classroom for the entire
time even though he may be given different activities thats suit to his needs.
2. Pullout to another venue
When it is not appropriate to provide for individualization inside the classroom
for learning or behavioral concerns, the child may be pulled-out to the another venue
apart from classroom. The teacher can address the needs of the child individually
without the distraction that a regular classroom can give.
3. Resource room plan
A separate room within the school where individual may occur. The teacher
may use special instructional materials and equipment.
4. assistant-ship plan
This is co-teaching option where one teacher has the primary teaching
responsibility. Such as Lead teacher is assisted by another teacher without assuming
direct teaching responsibility.
5.

Team-teaching plan
This is instructional scheme employs the presence of two teachers in the
class. They both present the lesson to the students and may devise a system on how
they share responsibility in handling the class.
