Episode 1= The Pilot

INT- Headmasters Office- Night

The Headmaster is sitting in his room writing documents on

his computer. The man looks tired with his half full cup of
coffee. The name on the desk was Richard Michaels
Headmaster of Morrison High. As he continues his work
His Secretary Janine Mitchell walks in and fills the room
with light. Richard then covers his eyes for a second before
getting use to the light being there.

Janine – I'm just letting you know that i`m going home
Richard.

Richard- Ok have a nice night.

Richard then smiled and waved at Janine.

Janine(Smiling)- Bye.

She leaves the room and closes the door. Richard continues
to do his work on his computer. His silence is interrupted
by the ringing of the phone. He jumps a little bit and then
grabs the phone.

Richard- Hello.

The voice on the other phone begins to speak.

Mystery Voice- I am watching your wife in the living room.

Richard then gave a concerned look and started to panic.

Richard- Who is this. How did you get this number.

Mystery Voice- All i`m gonna say is this is that your wife
has 2 minutes to live unless i get what i want.

Richard then starts to get scared and starts gathering his bag
and coat and makes a break for it.

Richard(Angry Voice)- Whoever this is i will hunt you and

kill you with my bare hands.

Mystery Voice- (laughs) I advice you to use your words

carefully otherwise your wife will suffer.

Richard then fuming with anger hangs up and flees out of

the office with his bag and coat in his left hand. He runs
down the hall with tears coming down his face as he
reaches the main entrance. He runs down the stairs and runs
into the car park. He starts his car and speeds out of the car
park and out of the school premises.
Cut to

EXT Outside 32 Cross house Drive- Night

The car pulls up outside. Richard slowly gets out and looks
round his garden. He cannot see anyone in his front garden.
He then grabs his mobile out of his pocket and dials a
number.
Richard(scared)- Come on pick up
A womens voice then starts talking on the other side.
Cut to
INT Living room - Night
Women- Hello.

Richard- Martha its me Listen i want you to check if there

is anyone outside the back garden.

Women- Why are you interested.

Richard(Shouting)- Just do it please.

She dropped the phone on the table and went to the back
door. Martha Michaels had blond hair and was in a pink
dressing gown. She slowly opened the door and felt the low
temperature of the breeze go against her face. She looked
around her dark,pitch black garden. She then sprinted back
inside and locked her door shut. She ran back to the living
room and grabbed the phone.

Martha- there is nothing out there why what is the problem.

There was no answer from Richards phone.

Martha- Hello.... Richard.

Cut to

Ext Front Lawn- Night

Outside the front lawn Richard is lying on the lawn with a
knife stabbed in his back. He was lying motionless with
blood in his hands looking like he fought the attacker off.
The attacker stood above him dressed in black. His face
was hidden as he stared down at the lifeless body of
Richard Michaels. Suddenly the door opened and The
hooded figure looked up. Martha opened the door and
quickly saw his husband Richard lying on the floor. He ran
to him with tears beginning to come down her eyes.

Martha(crying)- Oh god Richard please don't be dead

please.

As Martha cried over her Husband The hooded figure

walked towards Martha with another knife. As the figure
reached Martha she slowly looked up incredibly scared.

Martha(crying)- No ... please.

Hooded Figure- He should have gave me what i wanted.

A scream is uttered and seconds later Martha and Richard

are both lying there dead and covered in blood. The hooded
figure cleans his blades with his cloth. He then puts them
away and walks away leaving the dead bodies for someone
to find.

Act One

Ext School Main Entrance- Day

Hundreds of school children poured into the school. They
were all in groups talking about one thing or another. They
would always be in groups. It was how school worked. A
car pulled up next to the entrance. A girl in blue jeans and a
pink jumper came out with a red backpack. Her name was
Leanne Johnson. She had blond hair that was tied up.

Leanne- Thanks for dropping me off.

Voice in Car- No problem bye.

Leanne waved back as she walked into the school with a

big grin on her face. She then ran up the stone stairs and
into the school building. Cut to

Int School Entrance- Day

As she entered all was quiet. Leanne thought it was weird.
School was never quiet. She looked around and everyone
was in groups of 3 or 4 talking to one another. Leanne felt a
chill go down her spine. Suddenly she heard someone call
her name.

Voice- Leanne .

Leanne looked round to find the source of the voice. It was

her friend Tanya Cross. Tanya had black hair and she was
wearing black jeans and a red- yellow top. She had a pink
streak down her hair. She also had a Orange Beret on her
head. Leanne went over to her.

Leanne- It's weird why is everyone quiet.

Tanya(shouting)- Have you heard.

A few people looked over to her.

Leanne- I think you need to tone your voice down.

Tanya- Sorry.

Leanne- So whats up.

Tanya felt like she was about to puke and cry at the same
time.

Tanya- Principal Michaels and her wife were murdered

outside their home last night.

Leanne(in shock)- What.... Oh my god.

Tanya- I know its sad isn't it.

Leanne- Well who would want to kill Principal Michaels ?

They then started walking down the hallway to their

lockers.

Tanya- Who knows.

Their conversation was interrupted by Paula Chase , Tanya
and Leanne's other friend. She came up to them and began
talking.

Paula- You heard.

Tanya- Yeah.

they then continued to walk down to their lockers very

slowly like they were zombies.

Paula(looking down on the floor)- How do you think the

teachers are coping .
Cut to
Int Teachers Lounge- Day
Most of the teachers were sitting down with their cups of
coffee wiping their eyes with tissues. The atmosphere was
quiet and unbearable. If you were in the room you would
wish for someone to speak. Just then Janet Crensaw The Art
Teacher came into the lounge looking bummed. She wasn't
crying but was in shock but then she came back to reality.

Janet- Ok guys i know we are upset about the news but we

still have to keep running this school as though nothing
happened.

However Mr Mark Rogers stood up and spoke his mind.

Mark(shouting)- How can we. The head of this school and a

very dear friend of ours has been murdered. We should
close the school for us and the kids.
Janet(calm)- Mark calm down and we cant not now it is just
the beginning of the new semester.

Mark- Who is the new headmaster. We cant run this school

without one.

Janet- Mike Rex is coming in.

A few gasps and whispers occur in the room. Mark slowly

sits down as Lucy Jones stands up.

Lucy(Concerned)- I'm not gonna be in the same room as

Mike i don't think no one wants to be after what he did.

Janet- Lucy the past is the past he has served his time in jail
and now he is filling in until he find a new Headmaster.

Lucy(Shouting)- I don't care ism not teaching under the

same roof as him.

Janet(Shouting)- Janet(calms down) You don't have a

choice you must do it because we don't have any other
Replacements now so manage one day at a time.

Everyone in the room is watching Janet and Lucy's Head on

argument but Alan Jones (Lucy husband) Steps in and
breaks them apart.

Alan- (shouting)Ok Ladies i think we all need to calm

down.(calms down) we are all upset about the murder of
Richard but like Janet said we all have to continue like
nothing happened. Now the bell is going to go any minute
so i advice we all get ready for our first classes to teach.

Some started to leave but some stayed to finish their

coffees. Lucy stormed out in a angry way. Alan followed.
He managed to catch up to her. He grabbed her arm gently
and started talking to her.

Alan(gentle voice)- What is wrong.

Lucy(Tearful)- Nothing i`m just having a bad day.

Alan- Lucy believe me this day is just getting started.

Cut to

Int School Hallway- Day

Paula,Tanya and Leanne were at their lockers still talking
about the murder when Tom J Parker came walking down
the hallway looking for Leanne. He then saw Leanne and
called out to her

Tom- Leanne

Leanne looked to her left and saw Tom. She sprinted

towards him and hugged him. Tanya and Paula looked on

Paula(whisper)- How long have they been dating

Tanya(whisper back)- Don't know few months maybe

Tom and Leanne then wandered back to Tanya and Paula

which judging by their faces were a bit jealous of their
relationship

Tom- Hey Tanya, hey Paula

Tanya + Paula- Hey

Leanne- Tom did you hear about-

Tom – The murder yeah

A little silence then occurred and then Ton resumed talking

again

Tom- Cant believe this who would want to kill our

headmaster.

Tanya- I don't know but rumors say that he had a lot of

enemies

Tom(whisper)- You don't think any of the teachers would

kill Mr Michaels.

Leanne- Look enough whispering who knows but let the

police deal with it.

Another silence occurred and then Leanne resumed

speaking

Leanne- How if you excuse me i have a Computing Class to

get to
Leanne then kissed tom on the check and walked off. The
bell then rang and Tanya and Paula walked off to their first
class and by judging by their maths books it was Maths
Class and Tom stayed at his locker and began collecting his
books for his class.
Cut to
Int Headmasters Office- Day
No one had stepped foot in the headmasters office since last
night. The room was dark as the curtains were still shut. It
was rare that you would find curtains in a school office but
Richard Michaels was rich. The door was shut tight but
slowly the door knob turned to the right and seconds later
the door opened slowly and calmly. Mike Rex came into the
room with a smile on his face like he won the lottery. He
was carrying a black suitcase and wearing a black leather
jacket. He made his way to his desk. He put the leather
jacket on the desk and began to sat down. He then stared at
a picture of Richard kissing his wife Martha. He picked it
up.

Mike- Poor Richard. A very terrible loss.

He put back the picture to its original position. He then

picked the phone up and called the office. Janine then
answered the phone

Janine- Hello Morrison High office

Mike- Hey Janine its me i`m in Richards office getting

myself ready
Janine- Ok Mike call me if there are any problems

Mike- Cool

He then hangs up and starts doing paperwork

Int Maths Class- Day 9am

Tanya and Paula were talking with Tanya in the front row
and Paula in the next row behind her. Everyone was talking
as the Maths Teacher Mr Alan Jones was not there.
However the door burst open and Alan walked in with his
suitcase

Alan(Shouting)- Quiet

Everyone then stopped talking and stared at Mr Jones in

silence. Mr Jones was a very strict teacher and always gave
out very hard work.

Alan- Now class as you all know that our headmaster Mr

Michaels and his wife were found murdered last night but
however we will continue going through the semester under
a sub headmaster.

Tanya raised her hand up

Alan- Yes Tanya

Tanya- So who is the new headmaster

A voice then was heard from the back of the room

Voice- Teachers Pet

The class burst out laughing even Paula started giggling a

bit.

Alan(shouting)- Quiet

The class went into silence again

Alan- The new headmaster is Mr Rex

the same voice screamed out again

Voice- He is a dinosaur

Little snigger's began once again around the classroom

Alan- Josh you do not pipe down you can visit Mr Rex in
the office right away

Josh began to quiet down as Alan resumed talking

Alan- Now that we have cleaned that up lets resumed where

we left last time
Cut to

Int- School Hallway 9:10am- day

Mike Rex was monitoring the hallways to run into any
newcomers. Just across the hall he saw 2 boys running
down the hallway. Their names were Bill and Joe Dawson.
They were brothers and twins.
Bill- Joe we are gonna be late if you don't run any faster

Joe- (running out of breath) But i`m so tired

Mike saw them and walked towards them in a angry mood

Mike(shouting)- You two stop right there

Bill and Joe froze as Mike stopped right in front of them

Mike- Why are you two troublemakers late

Joe- Wrong Bus

Mike(shouting)- Wrong Bus(softer) You two twins are

careless. I should have you write 100 lines why you should
come to school on time. However i do not have time for
you so get to your class.

Bill and Joe sprinted to their class. Bill then went to

whisper something at Joe

Bill(whisper)- Close one

Int Computing Class- 9:11am

Leanne was typing on her computer doing some work that
her teacher that Mrs Andrea Winters had given the class.
Andrea was working on her own computer. She had gone
through a divorce which made her go insane one time. She
was typing something up when a knock came on her door
Andrea- Come in

Headmaster Mike Rex came in

Mike- Miss Winters can i see you for a minute

Andrea- Sure

Andrea went out the class and closed the door on her way
out.

Andrea- Whats up Mike

Mike- The police are here and they want to question the
teachers

Andrea grew concerned

Andrea(concerned)- Why we weren't at the killing though

Mike- I know they just want to speak with you and the
other teachers.

Andrea hesitated a bit but Mike stared at her like she did
something wrong and she accepted

Andrea- Fine let me get someone to cover the class.

Mike left Andrea to it as he walked back to the main

entrance
Ext School Grounds 9:14am
Mike exited the school and went to the black cop who was
on his way into the building

Mike- Mike Rex Headmaster of Morrison High

the cop raised his badge

Cop 1- Di Henry Muir

He lowered his badge

Henry- I hope we can get some answer. The crime scene

bought nothing

Mike- We will do the interviews in my office

End Of Act One

 Act Two

Int Headmaster`s Office – 9:19am

Mike and Henry entered the headmaster`s room to prepare
for the interview. Mike was sweating as this had happened
before and he was the one being questioned. Henry was
giving instructions to other police officers. He then walked
over to Mike

Henry- I hope this doesn`t make you uncomfortable after

last time

Mike wiped the sweat off his forehead and began to lie
through his teeth

Mike- yes of course i am. Now we must get started

Henry- Who do you want me to call

Mike was quickly getting stressed out by all the police

asking him questions

Mike(raising his voice)- I don`t care anyone

Henry raised an eyebrow and all the officers looked round

at him.

Mike(Sweating)- Would you excuse me please

Mike sprinted out the office and along the corridoor.

Cut to
Int Computing Class- 9:21am
Leanne was still doing her computer work. She was flying
through the questions. She was already on the final question
when suddenly she felt a pain in her stomach. She clutched
her stomach in torture. She then felt like she was going to
throw up. She raised her hand to Andrea Winters

Andrea- Yes Leanne what is it?

Leanne- May i please be excused

Andrea- Certainly

Leanne walked out of the computing class and along the

hallway
Cut to
Int Girls Bathroom 9:22 am
The door burst open and leanne ran threw and puked in the
sink. She wiped off any sick that was down her month or
around her lips. Her stomach started growing in pain again.
She clutched it once again in agony. She crawled down
against the corner trying to fight the pain. She then started
to blacken out and then she fainted.
Cut to
Int Headmaster`s Office- 9:24am
Mike returns from the bathroom more relaxed than he was
before. Henry then resumes his questions

Henry- i would like to get started now. We don`t have much

time
Mike- You said to me that this was the hottest case in town

Henry- yeah i know but we still need to hurry

Mike exited his office and called in the first teacher. Janet
Crensaw then came into the room ready for her interview.

Henry- Miss crensaw Di henry Muir we just need to answer

a few questions.

Janet wasn`t bothered. All she wanted to do was answer her

questions and go. She sat down. Mike then came up to her

Mike- Janet would you like some water

Janet- No thank you

Mike then returned to his desk and watched as the

interview.

Henry- Now Janet i am going to ask you a few questions

and i want you to answer them as truthfully as possible

Janet- Henry with all due respect i am not stupid so can we

get on with it please

Henry stared at Mike and Mike stared back at henry.

Henry- Very well. Janet can you tell us where you were at
8:30pm last night
Janet- At home reading a book

Henry- What book

Janet- Flower of Misery

Henry- Never heard of it

Janet- Well it is a book i rented it out from the book store.

Henry wrote down a couple of things. Suddenly there was a

knock on the door. Mike called the person in. It was Janine.

Mike- What is it Janine

Janine- Very sorry to disturb the interview Mr Rex but one

of our pupils Leanne Johnson has been found
unconsciousness in the girls bathroom

Mike- Damn... Where is she now

Janine- She is in the medical room.

Mike got up from his seat and followed Janine out the
room.

Mike- Continue with the interview.

Mike then closed the door and left the room. Cut to

Int Medical Room- 9:30 am

Leanne was lying on the medical bed. She was awake but
very pain. The Nurse then came up to Leanne.

Nurse- I have phoned your mum and she will pick you up
in a minute.

Leanne- Thank`s Nurse Donavon

the Nurse then walked away. Leanne rolled over and tried
to get some sleep. Her face was white as a ghost. Mike then
came wandering down and saw Leanne. He knelt down to
her level

Mike- Leanne it`s Mr Rex how are you feeling

Leanne couldn`t speak. She could barely get a word out

Mike- She does look really sick. When is her mum picking
her up

Nurse- She has just arrived

Mary Johnson walked into the school entrance wearing

black shades. It wasn`t even sunny. She took the shades off
and went over to Leanne

Mary- yeah she does look pale. What happened

Mike- Someone found her in the girl`s bathroom

Mary- Ok(Goes to Leanne`s level) Leanne its mum Can

you walk

Leanne barely says anything. She does a weak nod

signaling that she can. She stirs a bit and then weakly gets
up. Nurse Donavon helped her up as she limped her way
back to the car. As Mike saw her off he then went back to
his office.
Cut to
Int Headmaster`s Office- 9:33am
Mike opened the door to see the interview proceed on as
normal. This time Lucy was in the seat. When Mike came
in his face fell. He didn`t know Lucy worked here. Lucy`s
face didn`t look happy

Lucy(Angry face)- Hello Mike

Mike- Lucy

He slowly made his way to his seat and watched the

interview. It was clear that he was uncomfortable around
Lucy. Henry waited for Mike to sit down before contonuing
his questions

Henry- Now Lucy Where were you at the time of Richard

Michael`s death

Lucy crossed her arms and resumed talking

Lucy- At home with my husband Alan. He can back up my

story
Henry- Really well let`s bring him in them.

Mike rose from his seat

Mike- I`ll go get him

As Mike walked out of his office Lucy gave a long glare at

Mike. Henry was interested at this. Mike then closed the
door and Henry resumed talking

Henry- So Lucy you seemed to have a dislike to Mike.

Why?

Lucy then glared at Mike

Lucy- My personal life is really none of your concern

Henry then backed off seeing that Lucy wasn`t in the mood

Henry- hey(raises hands) I was only asking

Lucy- Well that is your answer

Henry then seems like he has nothing left to say to her

Henry- Ok your done

Lucy got up and walked slowly out of the office. Henry felt
like he had been in the office for months. He stood up and
opened the door. He then left the room.
Cut to
Ext Johnson Residence- Outside- 9:36am
The Johnson car pulled up. Mary got out and so did a dizzy
Leanne. Mary held her arm so she could help her into the
house. When she reached the door she took out a key and
opened the door.
Cut to
Int Johnson Residence- Inside- 9:37am
The door opened and Mary and Leanne entered. Their
living room was unbelievably posh. Leanne ran to the
bathroom as she felt that she was going to be sick. Mary
followed her but the door was closed. Mary stood outside
the door

Mary- Leanne are you Ok

All that Mary could hear was Leanne coughing. Mary

looked a bit woried as she heard her daughter coughing.

Mary- If you need anything just ask

Leanne couldn`t answer as she was still coughing and

puking in the bathroom.
Cut to
Int Maths Class- 9:40am
Bill and Joe were in maths and were solving maths
equations. Alan was typing on his computer when there was
a knock on the door.

Alan- Come in

Mike walked in and everyone glanced at him

Mike- I need to see you Mr Jones for a few minutes

Alan stood up from his desk and started walking out the
room.

Alan- Continue with those maths equations

As the door closed the classroom began talking. Tanya and

Paula turned round to Bill and Joe.

Paula- Why were you late ?

Bill- Long story

Tanya- What is going on down there

Joe- Police. You know why

Tanya- But why would they want to question Mr Jones

Bill- They are questioning every teacher in the school

Paula- So they are assuming that it was a teacher that killed

Mr Michaels

Joe- Who knows

Int Headmaster`s Office- 9:41am

Alan opened the door and entered the office. Henry greeted
him and Alan greeted back
Henry- Would you like to take a seat Mr Jones

Alan- Yeah sure

He sat down on the chair as Henry began asking his

questions.

Henry- Well first of all i would like to say where you were
at the time of Richard Michaels`s murder.

Alan- I was at home watching television

Henry- I presume you were with Lucy

Alan however had a confused look on his face

Alan(confused)- No i wasn`t

Henry and Mike grew in shock. Their eyes widened as Alan

sat there in confusion.

Alan- Why what did she say

Cut to
Int Johnson`s Bathroom- 9:44am
Leanne is washing her face in the mirror. She then notices
that her hair is a mess. She opens the wardrobe to look for
the hairbrush. However he sees something that makes her
mouth drop a little bit and her eyes widen. A pregnancy test.
She takes it out the carboard and looks at it. She then closes
her eyes and starts taking the stick out of the box
 Fade Out

End Of Act Two

Act Three
Int School grounds- 11am
Tanya,Paula,Tom,Bill and Joe are talking on the hill behind
the school. They have just heard that Leanne has gone
home.

Paula(To Tom)- So what do you think is wrong with her

Tom(To Paula)- Who knows maybe a bug or something

Bill- Lucky her and we all have to stay in school.

Tanya- Well Bill what do you expect. She is sick

Joe- Maybe she is faking

Tanya- Why would she fake it ?

Joe- i don`t know ask her why.

A silence once again occurs until Paula breaks it

Paula- Look you guys do you want to skip the rest of the
day because we are all easily going to get bored ?

They all looked at each other and agreed

Paula- great let`s go

They all start to get up until Tom thinks for a moment

Tom- Where though

They all stop and think

Tom- We can go to that club across town

Paula- No that is too far

Bill- The park

Tanya- Too boring

They all sit back down on the hill to try to think of a place
to go. Suddenly the bell goes. They all jump and realise
class is starting

Paula- Well skipping school or staying at school

They think for a few seconds before getting an answer

All- Skipping

They all leap up and run towards the back school gates.
Cut to
Int Headmaster`s Office- 11:15am
Henry and Mike are talking in the office.
Henry- Why would Lucy lie ?

Mike is still quiet speechless. His face says it all

Mike- No idea. You dont think she could have done it

Henry turns to face Mike

Henry- it is not me to judge. Maybe Alan is lying

Mike then stands up

Mike- I don`t think so. I mean you saw Alan`s reaction

when we told him what she said.

Henry- Perhaps your right

Mike then throws his head against the desk.

Mike- I just can`t believe that she may have killed a very
popular and friendly man. He was a great man to this
school.

Henry turned round to the video of Lucy`s interview.

Henry- One of the teachers said that he was hated

Mike raised his head again

Mike- Well a few teachers didn`t like him. It was when he

was a alcoholic he use to treat his co workers like crap. But
then he started changing and getting better. That is when he
got more respect and more teachers started to like him. But
some were still unsure of him... You don`t think it was one
of the teachers that killed him.

Henry raised his finger

Henry- History Mike. History. (turns round to face Mike)

There is always a dark history from the past that always
comes back to haunt them. In this situation Richard
Michaels or the killer.

Silence fills the office for a few seconds until Henry says
something

Henry- What is the deal with you and Lucy.

Mike then starts staring into space. He then pours himself a

drink

Mike- What one

Henry- No thanks.

He then starts pouring himself a drink and sits back down.

Mike- What i am about to say never gets out this room.

Henry grabs a chair and sits on it.

Henry- I`m listening

Flashback Sequence
Int Nightclub- Night- 1984
The noise and lights filled the air as a younger looking
Mike Rex entered the bar. The atmosphere was amazing
like a concert in a night club. He pushed his way towards
the bar and went to a bartender.

Mike- Vodka with lemon please

The bartender goes to make him a vodka with lemon. Mike

then looks around again and sees a young girl maybe in her
20s over at the other side of the bar in a silver tight sparkly
dress drinking alone. The bartender hands him his drink as
Mike does the same with his dollar. He started drinking
down his vodka and kept staring at the young girl. The
young girl noticed
