Rooster Tail on
the T-Rex Trail

Some of the hills the riders challenged

during Sundays 3rd Annual Steve Stebleton
Appreciation Day appeared close to impossible
to master; for a few it was, and for others it
wasnt, depending on riding skills. But everyone
enjoyed the outing regardless. At right are the
dinosaurs of the ride, from left: Mike Hladd,
Steve Stebleton, land owner Pat Dunn and Jeff
Knodel, who showed up on a brand new bike
that hadnt even touched the dirt yet. Says Pat:
He should have a brand new bike, he makes
the best pizza in the world.

Getting hooked on fishing

Marc Kloker, FWP Region 6 Information and Education

Manager, got to spend a windy Saturday afternoon
with a great group of Girl Scouts in Fort Peck. The girls
all assembled a rod, reel, line, and tackle. They also
learned about fishing ethics, regulations, and various
species in Fort Peck waters. Finally, they went out to
catch a few fish, and Patti Scanlans photos prove they
did just that!

When the dirt bike pulled up to the ledge at right (I had no idea who it was at the
time) my only thought was No way... But sure enough, after pondering the near
straight up-n-down adobe for several seconds, over the ledge he went. Indeed,
in his first time of Shredding the T-Rex Trail, Mick Reyling was riding with the Big
Boys and showing no fear. Youll have to check out Jeff Knodels Facebook page
for a video of Mick taken shortly after this episode. Thats also Mick up above
and below. Throwing the rooster tail on todays front page is Cole Redfield.
