BASE PAPER

Abstract :
Student Result Management System (SRMS) provides results for maintenance of
student information. It can be used by educational institutes or colleges to maintain the
records of students easily. The creation and management of accurate, up-to-date information
regarding students academic career is critically important in the university as well as
colleges. Student result system deals with all kind of student branches results, course details,
batch details, and other resource related details too. It tracks all the details of students from
the day one to the end of the course which can be used for all reporting purpose, progress in
the course, completed semesters, years, exam details, and shows student either pass or fail.
Every exam result and all these will be available through a secure, online interface embedded
in the colleges website.
It shows students results through based on their classes separately. Students can view
their results easily without going to anywhere. Every student may search easily their results
through this SRMS.
3.2 Proposed System:

The paper focuses on presenting information in an easy and intelligible manner which
provides facilities like online registration and profile creation of students thus reducing
paper work and automating the record generation process in an educational institution. A
website which contains up to date information of the college that should improve efficiency
of college record management. Additionally, each sub-system has authentication allowing
authorized users to create or update information in that subsystem. All data is thoroughly
review1ed and validated on the server before actual record alteration occurs.

Advantages:

Decrease time required to access and deliver student records.

To make the system more secure.


Decrease time spent on non-value added tasks.
Using SRMS the information is scattered, can be redundant and collecting relevant
information may takes less time.

The Various Modules used in the SISTK student database are :

Marks Enrollment
Update Marks
3.Registration
4.Logout
5.About us

Home page :This module is used to display the main home page when entered into
the website and we have to get back to this module once we logged out from the
login module .

Login :This module is used for entering into the database page where the
administration can:

Enroll Marks :It is used to enter the academic performance of each and every
student according to their respective departments.
Update Marks :It is used to update the academic details of students if any

after stored in

database.
Registration: The Registration module will be useful to enter personal details of the students
and by using their registration id we can retrieve their academic details.

View User details :Inthis module both the administrator and departmental Hods can see the
overall details of their students those who are already entered by the admin .
View Reports :In this module the academic reports i.e. semester wise results of every student
can be viewed by the authenticated persons by entering student ID and their

year of

pursuing .
Logout : This module is used to disconnect a remote terminal from a multi access system by
entering an authenticated ID and password etc.., In our project it is used to log off from the
admin page and getting back to the home page.

About Us :The about us module will consists of details of the college such as overview

of the college and department particulars of the institution etc..,


Contact Us : This module consists of contact numbers of the college and address of the
college and also some images

Conclusion:
An admin can handle full-scale computer and computer related resource .college
administration system deals with all the activities done by computer such as registration and
administration process all the process handled by the computer management system
