taste and see

Next Sunday, 3rd May, join us for our innovative 'taste and
see' service where we use different ways to explore the theme
of the service. We will have a variety of options and this time
we are introducing a new option - that of Godly Play.
The heart of Godly Play is personal response and spiritual
engagement with the story, which is told using objects and
figures. The style in which the story is told helps to create a
meaningful experience for each person and so it works very
well with all ages.
Do join us!

New Wine Sat 25th - Fri 31st July

This Summer, Will, Angie and Sue are leading a group to New
Wine in Shepton Mallett again. New Wine is an amazing place
to be spiritually fed as a whole family and it's also a wonderful
place for those going to connect and
grow in community together. Do please
join us for what should prove a great
time. See Will, Angie or Sue for more
details.
Early Bird discounts are only available
until 7th May, so book soon (and please
let one of us know when you do!)

~~~~~
3rd May
Taste & See
Welcome to our Service,
especially if you are here for
the first time today.
There is a young families
corner at the back of the
main hall.
Please do enjoy a tea or
coffee in the interval.
Springfield AGM
Welcome to our AGM!
This is your chance to celebrate all that God has done and will do
as well as ask questions and get an understanding of all that is
going on. Our children and young people start in their groups this
morning
~~~~~~~~~~
The first half is made up of a time of worship, we will then move
into the business part of the meeting, including any elections.
After that there is a ten minute break for refreshments and to
collect any children from their groups (the youth join us as well).
The second half of the AGM includes interviews, a vision of our
way forward and our "Year in the Life" picture show

How to explain Soul

Survivor? Well, its a bit like
a Christian Glastonbury:
10 000 young people
camping in fields, meeting in
a Big Top to learn and to
encounter Jesus.
As well as meeting Jesus, it
is a great time of getting to
know each other as we camp
together, eat together, have
fun together.
Book up by the end of April
for the cheaper rates.
Talk to Becca for more detail
or visit the Soul Survivor
