The air conditioning shall include central air conditioning / water cooled package type air
conditioning systems for Control room, Server room and other rooms require air conditioning
facility.
Substation, Switch gear room, MCC room, VFD room, UPS room cable cellar / basement and
other room require ventilation facility shall be provided with washed air supply system with
pressurization of 2-3 mmWC positive pressure & maximum temperature of 27 0C. The system

The sheet thickness for air washer tank shall be 5 mm and for the body of the air
washer shall be 3.15 mm MS sheet. The internal of air washer shall be
galvanised / zinc spray coated.
Intermediate chambers shall be made of minimum 3.15 mm MS sheet. The

The face velocity of air through air washer shall not be more than 2.5 m/sec.
