Apprentice scheme
cash boost to create
52,000 new places
TODAYS confirmation of
144m EU and Welsh Government investment to fund more
than 50,000 apprenticeships in
West Wales and the Valleys over
the next four years has been
welcomed by the organisation
representing the nations training providers.
The Welsh Government says the
investment will fund 52,000 apprenticeships, with the majority
of places targeted at 16-24 year
olds in construction, engineering,
IT and retail.
Each apprentice will have the
opportunity to study qualifications from foundation level to
advanced level.
First minister Carwyn Jones
also revealed that the Welsh
Government would be announc-

ing further investment in other

aspects of our apprenticeship
programme in the coming
weeks.
The National Training Federation Wales, a network of more
than 100 quality assured workbased learning providers with
links to 35,000 employers across
Wales, welcomed the announcement but stressed that the
investment was confirmation of
a budgeted commitment by the
Welsh Government rather than
new money.
Jeff Protheroe, the NTfWs operations manager, said: We are
delighted with the first ministers

The Role
Working towards an individual sales target you will be expected to be resourceful and self motivated.
Sourcing and canvassing new clients to introduce to our portfolio and in-turn being proactive and creative
in inding solutions to their advertising and marketing needs. This will run in sync with the ongoing
management of existing, established clients, ensuring they are receiving the best possible value from our
product portfolio.
The Person
As a Field Sales Representative you will need to be self motivated and driven towards achieving revenue
targets. Conidence in working under your own initiative is essential, although there will be occasions that
you are required to work on team projects.
Time management is key to this role, along with being able to adhere to rigid deadlines. Previous sales
and/or customer service experience could be advantageous, although this is not an essential requirement as
a comprehensive training programme is in place.
The Package
In return the successful candidate can expect to receive:
26,200 OTE - uncapped bonus potential
