JOSE MANUEL NUÑEZ VALENZUELA

COVER LETTER

My professional experience and educational background could

contribute to your firm’s goals of expansion and growth. Why?

Because through help desk assistance, training and certification

program development and coordination of technology update
seminars, I can help you meet your goals for diverse staff
productivity levels located in multiple locations, being English or
Spanish speakers.

My experience working in the MIS department of Dorians –a 4000

employee, 40 department and convenience stores chain with a
network of more than 500 computers, located in five cities in Baja
California Mexico, has provided me with the expertise, insight and
knowledge to effectively manage MIS functions and bilingual staff.

With internet services growing to be the #1 tool and media for

information gathering and distribution, security has been the top
concern for upper management. During my 20 years employment
history at Dorians, there was no significant single event related to
computer virus or network attacks. This was accomplished by a
strong security barrier created by a thorough selection of security
programs, firewalls and appliances (devices with integrated
application), as well as a smoothly and carefully coordinated security
vendor relationship plus a continuous development of a strong
security culture within the enterprise.

I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss any
available opportunity that matches my skills. Please let me know if
you have any questions or if you would like to see specific work
samples. You may reach me by phone at 011 52 (664) 681- 7608 or
by email at jose.nunez@prodigy.net.mx

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Jose M. Núñez
