1. What is ShARE

What we do
Activities carried out by ShARE members depend on their level of seniority within ShARE. Each transition
between one level to another requires a validation by ShARE-Global.
The career path of the ShARE member takes 2 years to complete. The ShARE member becomes then a
formal Alumni of ShARE.
This career path is geared to equip ShARE members with all the necessary skills to conduct a project in
his/her last two semesters within ShARE.

2. What is ShARE DU

Some studies at ShARE DU in 2014

Can
Crowdfunding
Really Boost
Start-ups of
Bangladesh?
Md. Wahidul Islam

Can creating
moving factors
boom local
backward
economy?
Kazi Bahalul Jalil

Is m-cash going to
be the future of
fund transfer
system in
Bangladesh?
Mohammad Mohi
Uddin

In Bangladesh, its very usual to find out people with great

ideas but cant harness them due to lack of funds; banks
are not willing to provide loans. Albeit Crowdfunding is
cynical in Bangladesh, some spearheads are currently
working for introducing the financing method in wide
range. Harnessing Crowdfunding is efficient in the era of
private software development firms and mobile banking.
However, there are fears about fraud, money laundering
or Domino Effect.

Economic moving factor is the vehicle to boost static or

backward economy. Many backward economy boosted
through economic moving factors worldwide and some
even brought about 4 million visitors to a city in three
years. In Bangladesh, Factory of Square Group at Pabna
& Safari Park at Gazipur are exemplary in this regard.
More regional economies can boost up by creation of
moving factors.

Mobile banking is engaging more people in banking

system in Bangladesh. At present 3,25,756 agents at
near door of customers have been very fruitful to gain
customers satisfaction. Following the central banks rules
28 banks are now registered to launch mobile banking
system and 19 banks have already officially started
mobile banking operation. If some of its weaknesses are
removed then it will be like a revolutionary model of
banking system in Bangladesh.
