11. TRIES
In case of fault or very critical external conditions, the UPS change logic to stop the appropriate power block.
Sometimes is allowed to UPS to do some tries to restart; the main cases are:

12. INVERTER AND RECTIFIER FREQUENCY

Inverter and Rectifier dont run with fix PWM frequency.
This fact permit to UPS to work in very strong and critical conditions, presents in same moment, keeping
reduced the losses of IGBT and its juntion temperature.
With low load the PWM increase reducing noise.
PWM frequency is always the same both for Inverter and Rectifier, even if the threshold of commutations are
different. The worse case (Inverter or Rectifier) force the lower frequency.
PWM frequency depends by:
-Inverter/Rectifier Current
-Heat sink temperature
-Rectifier operation: Mains voltage value, one or two battery blocks.
PWM frequency:
-15kHz
-12,5kHz
-10kHz
-8kHz
In nominal condition of input mains, at 35C, the link between load and frequency is the following (exept for
40kVA):
PWM frequency
15kHz
12,5kHz
10kHz
8kHz
