BEGINNER/BASIC (XPRESS) SOFTWARE VERSION

Here are the step checklists to make sure you have all your materials ready before you start.
Have you downloaded and installed our free Photo Book software in your PC or MAC?
Please had your photos ready in a folder.
Please make sure all your photos in JPEG format.
Do you have Adobe Flash Player? You need it (Which is free to download from Adobe website) to preview your
photo book once you are done.

REGISTRATION

1. Click on the installer icons for Xpress to install.

2. After installed the software you are require to register to enjoy the support benefits and updates.

3. Select book type ( size, pages )

Select your preferred book size

Choose number of pages

4. Click on the double tick icon (1) to select all photos .You may sort your photos by time, type, name &
orientation. (2)

5. Creative Mode
Click the arrow button to proceed to NEXT step
Next step you need to decide how you want the software to work as shown below:
Xpress Mode Automatically create the photo book for you.
Custom You are requiring picking number of photos per page.
Manual Use your creativity to pick up layouts & themes manually.

6. Now you can start with the designing on your own photo book.

Choose your desire theme and style and click the arrow button.

CHANGE PAGE STYLES USING MASKS, BACKGROUND, CLIP ART & EDIT PHOTO
7. Please refer the bottom step to add accessories to your photo book
For backgrounds,clip arts, borders ,Predefined layouts and masks .
Click on the Lock/ Unlock button to unlock the photo on the theme page. By default the photos on theme pages are
always locked, and you need to unlock them for repositioning. The lock / unlock button is green in the lock mode.

Click EDIT button: Resize,
crop & rotate pictures.
Tip: Save your project once

(2) Color Enhancement

(1) Change image tones.

8. Edit pictures
Give your photos a special touch. Click on the Adjust button for a unique look; consider adding Black &
White or Sepia filters (1). Feel free to explore the image enhancements color (2) by click on the icon which
shows your new results from your original images!

CLIP ART

Choose the theme and scroll to the right to

view more variety clip art collection

Scroll down to view more available clip

art

Choose the theme and scroll to the right to view more variety border collection. Remove the
border by click the Remove Border icon.
MASK

You can add a mask to a picture box or shape simply by dragging it from the library onto the picture.
A mask will always scale to fit the box exactly. Remove the Mask by click the Remove Mask icon.

Choose the theme (1) and scroll down (2) to view more Background collection
REMOVE BACKGROUND & APPLYING PHOTO AS BACKGROUND

You can also use either your pictures as backgrounds, Applying Photo as Background to Left / Right side of
the Page

Click on the ? Icon for help file. A description of the software function will be display to help you to design
your photo book.

Make payment or redeem your voucher.

Fill in the required quantity.
Confirm shipping and billing details.
Change the shipping method by click on the change if for those wish to self- pick up instead shipping.
Fill in voucher or discount code and click

Click 'I Agree icon and complete payment process.

You will receive an email confirmation containing your order number and order details.
Note: Please keep the confirmation e-mail for future reference.

Final step: Upload order
The order is not complete until your book has been uploaded. Once you have completed the online order
form, upload your book by choosing "UPLOAD ORDER".
You may choose to upload files online (approximately 30-45 mins depending on internet stability and file size).
Your order is complete once your file has been uploaded successfully.

11. Click on the photo icon then click on New button to input your photos folder.

13. Now you can start with the designing on your own photo book.

Choose your desire creative design templates from the huge library for the templates layouts.

Then choose your ideal number of photos per page. Variety design in different photos per page

Later if you wish to add accessories to your photo book. Please refer the bottom of the software

right layout before you drag the design template to your page layout.

Once you have finished designing your book, click on the "Shopping Cart" icon to submit your photo book.
