PERTANYAAN PEMBELAJARAN

1. Apa yang harus dimasukkan dalam

penilaian pasca perawatan setelah
pengobatan yang diberikan sebelumnya telah
selesai? Kapan dan seberapa sering pasien
diperiksa ulang? Berikan contoh variabel
yang memengaruhi frekuensi ini.

berbagai keterbatasan dari prostodontik yang

tetap sebelum pengobatan dimulai.
GLOSARIUM
Kegagalan adesif (1998): kegagalan obligasi
pada antarmuka dua bahan karena tertarik
atau bergeser

2. Apa komplikasi jangka pendek pasca

sementasi? Bagaimana cara
menghindarinya? Bagaimana
penyelesaiannya?

Karies : penyakit gigi menyebabkan

kerusakan enamel, dentin dan / atau
sementum. Etiologi Ini pada umumnya
dianggap berasal dari bakteri penghasil asam

3. Bagaimana karies akar dapat diselesaikan

dengan memuaskan?

penyesuaian oklusal : perubahan dalam

oklusi

4. Bagaimana memperbaiki retainer yang

longgar? Bagaimana FDP dihapus?

trauma oklusal : trauma periodonsium dari

fungsional atau parafungsional yang
menyebabkan kerusakan pada peralatan
periodonsium melebihi kapasitas adaptif dan
reparatif.

5. Berikan tiga contoh rencana perawatan

yang mengambil kegagalan masa depan
sebagai pertimbangan.
RINGKASAN
Perawatan pascaoperasi yang efisien adalah
mekanisme utama untuk memastikan
kesuksesan jangka panjang dalam fixed
prostodontik. Gigi yang direstorasi
memerlukan penghapusan plak lebih tekun
dan pemeliharaan daripada gigi biasa, FDP
membutuhkan perawatan tambahan dan
perhatian.
Komplikasi umum setelah selesai fase aktif
pengobatan termasuk karies, kegagalan
periodontal, kegagalan endodontik, retainer
longgar, porselen fraktur, dan fraktur. Jika
memungkinkan, dokter gigi harus
mengantisipasi prognosis dan pengobatan
jangka panjang kebutuhan pasien dan upaya
untuk merancang rencana perawatan yang
sesuai. FDP dapat dirancang sedemikian rupa
sehingga pengobatan ulang di masa
mendatang dapat diantisipasi dan
disederhanakan. Pasien harus memahami

analisis oklusi: pemeriksaan sistem

pengunyahan dengan pertimbangan khusus
untuk efek oklusi gigi pada gigi dan struktur
yang terkait
overclusure : dimensi vertikal occluding
pada jarak antar lengkung berkurang;
dimensi vertikal occluding yang
menghasilkan jarak interoklusal berlebihan
saat mandibula dalam posisi istirahat; itu
menghasilkan jarak interridge berkurang
ketika gigi berada dalam kontak
overdenture : setiap prostesis gigi yang
mencakup dan bertumpu pada satu atau lebih
gigi alami, akar gigi alami, dan / atau implan
gigi
akar : bagian dari apikal gigi yang biasanya
ditutupi oleh sementum dan melekat ke
ligament periodontal.
