The selection process

The selection process starts from the moment a person subscribes. The purpose of the
selection process is to assess the applicants and their suitability for an AIESEC
exchange. It is also often the first contact the applicants have with AIESEC and will
influence the impression the applicant has of the organization. Therefore in this process
so its important we handle the application in a professional manner and set the right

CAT

CAT is the test from myaiesec.net, which

we can use to clarify the state of
potential EP, according to Global
Competency Model. Every candidate
will have 5 minutes (last 5 minutes of the
interview) to fill this test. He/she will do
it online, in the office, so you need to
have prepared place with laptop and
internet connection. You can make one
account just for these things (please do
it before the interview) and when EP is
done, you can save it and compare to
results of his interview. It is very powerful
and it helps a lot to see if our potential
EB is matchable or not.

Closing of the interview

Thank to the candidate

for interview
Ask whether the
candidate has any
questions
Say to candidate that
we will announcement

Announcement
of the results
should be within

the interview.
Main
responsible: IM

It is really important to read this

carefully. As you can see, you have 7
groups of questions and you have a tip
for every question. Every interviewer will
give his/her own mark for each question.
Marks are from 1 (lowest) to 4 (highest).
After you give all marks, you need to find
average mark for every group! After
that, you compare your results. If a
person has average mark lower than 2.3
in one or more groups, that person
didn't pass the interview. After EP is
done with CAT, you save it and you'll
get the result of self-assessment. If EP has
mark lower than 2.3 he/she failed.

So, potential EP needs to have both

(interview and CAT) marks above
2.3 in order to pass the interview.
