At Imagine College of English, we follow the CEFR assessment system used throughout the
world as recommended by NEAS. Teachers focus on the development of learning skills and

Imagine Education Australias College of English is committed to helping our students master
the English language, no matter their age. We believe that early education is vital to each childs
development and future success. We offer two English programs for children: Young Learners
for children aged six to 12, and High School Preparation for children who are soon to enter
high school in Australia. Our English programs are delivered by world-class teaching staff who
encourage independent language learning in a caring and supporting environment.

Young Learners
Course length 1-40 weeks; 25h/ week

About the course


Our Young Learners Program, which closely follows
the Australian primary school syllabus, is taught
at Imagines Main Campus at Benowa Road. It
is perfect for children aged six to 12 who plan to
attend a primary school in Australia.
The Young Learners Program is designed to help
young people learn about Australian culture and
lifestyle, express their thoughts about themselves,
and react to the world.

radio programs, singing, and drama
Small class sizes guarantee individual

Assessment activities will be carried out as an


integral part of the every day teaching cycle. Student
progress is monitored through regular assessment
and class participation, and programs are flexible
to meet the needs of the individual students. On
completion of their studies, students will receive a
certificate indicating their level of proficiency.
High School Preparation
Course length 60 weeks; 25h/ week

About the course


Our High School Preparation course is taught
at Imagines Main Campus at Benowa Road. It
prepares students for entry into Australian high
school and enables smooth transition into private
high schools upon completion.
Course content is based on the Queensland
secondary school core subject areas (grade 8 to
12), including English for maths, English for science,
academic writing, and public speaking. Course
material is varied and fun, and includes internet
research, extracts from books and movies, television
and radio programs, music, drama, and art.
Classes are taught by teachers who are registered
and accredited by the Queensland College of
Teachers. Rules and policies are closely monitored
to ensure students are in a comfortable study
environment. All learning materials are provided free
of charge by the college.

support alternative pathways to higher education. Bond College, Bond University, CQ University, Griffith
University, James Cook University, and Southern Cross University offer pathways programs, providing an
articulation pathway for students to meet the entry requirements for university. This is a great pathway for
students aged 16 and over who are too mature for an Australian high school but too young for university.
