conhecidas. Alm disso, existem controvrsias sobre a existncia do chamado efeito

Abstract: Microwave radiation as alternative heat source in organic synthesis had
become a powerful tool for the development of novel and efficient synthetic methods.
Solvent free synthesis, time and manipulation reduction, besides the decreasing of
by side products, are among the numerous advantages of microwave energy use in
organic synthesis. In this regard, many problems related to organic compounds
oxidation reactions, could be (cope, solved, overcome) when MW energy is employed.
The fact that (achecimento with) MW energy accelerate some organic and inorganic
reactions is widely documented in scientific literature. However, some questions
about the nature of the interaction between microwave radiation and matter, still

1 INTRODUO
As microondas (MO) so ondas eletromagnticas no-ionizantes, com freqncias

a partir do KMnO4.
