Come join fellow parishioners and believers in Christ as we discuss
topics brought up during the debate. Come defend your faith. Let your
voices be heard! We start with a presentation by Joe CrowIey, mem-
ber of the Diaconate Class of 2013.

"Joe Crowley is currently in formation for the Permanent Diaconate in
the Archdiocese of Atlanta. He has been a parishioner at St. Peter
Chanel since 2001 with his wife Donna and daughter Rachel. Rachel
was in the first four-year class to graduate from Blessed Trinity High
School in 2004 and now attends Kennesaw State University.
Joe was baptized in the Catholic Church in Montrose, CA in 1963 and
after receiving First Holy Communion he never returned to the
church. Ìt was from that point that Joe drifted away from the church
and from God and became an atheist.
While serving in the United States Air Force in Germany, Joe met and
married his wife Donna, a cradle Catholic, in 1983. While reaching a
low point in his life, Joe started a search for the truth which led him
back to the Church in 1994. Joe has worked with various ministries
such as Life Teen, Cursillo, Christ Renews His Parish and is cur-
rently starting a new Military Ministry at St. Peter Chanel. God willing,
Joe will be ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in 2013."
This retreat is an invitation for women to grow in faith, hope and love.
Through the contemplation of scripture and prayer and the spirituality of
St. Ìgnatius of Loyola, Jesus speaks to our heart, calling us into a
deeper personal relationship with Him. Come and hear what Jesus is
speaking into your life. Just in time for Lent! Presented by the Marian
Servants of the Blessed Trinity. Suggested donation of $25 for materi-
als highly encouraged. All are welcome regardless of ability to afford
suggested donation. Signup sheets at all back-end tables inside the
church.
Central themes of Mother Teresa's spirituality include: Living in Christ,
Passion for truth, Fulfilling your purpose, The urgency of prayer, The
need for silence, Love at the center, Minding God's call, A life for the
poor, Contemplation in the world, The secret of joy, Trust in God's
providence, Family life, Leadership through service, Peacemaking,
Instrumentality, Devotion to Mary and Holiness for everyone. Ìf inter-
ested, please email Rick Medina at rlmedina@comcast.net or call 678-
687-8308.

CONSECRATION TO 1ESUS THROUGH MARY:
This is a beautiful exercise to increase your spirituality and
be able to serve Jesus. The basic premise as set forth by
St. Louis de Montfort is that Jesus came to us through Mary
and in order for us to be closer to Jesus we should go
through Mary. Ìt begins February 20th with a 12 day
preparation of "freeing ourselves from the spirit of the
world¨ followed by one week devoted to the knowledge of ourselves,
the second to that of the Virgin Mary and the third to that of Jesus
Christ. We will have the Consecration on Monday, March 24th at the
Rosary and Miraculous Medal Novena at 7:15pm in the chapel. Book-
lets are available for a small donation.
