Functioned in the capacity of County Administrator: Formulate budget and set tax rate. Manage all
Department Heads including Public Health, Budget, Purchasing, Human Resources, IT, and Public Works.
Communicate with city leaders, state and governmental elected officials, and agencies in the administration
of objectives. Serve as the countys voting representative on the Regional Transportation Council
(Metropolitan Planning Organization for the D/FW region). Organize, facilitate, and host public forums on
county affairs and upcoming projects. Write and introduce presentations, resolutions, and press releases;
serve as point of contact for media and public relations activities.

Leading a team of community volunteers in all aspects of a community event celebrating the
opening of a major transportation facility featuring a run across a bridge generating media coverage
and raising over $10,000 for local non-profits
The formation of a regional coalition made up of area city elected officials, city staff, developers, and
citizens designed to network and generate administrative and policy solutions on common issues
and challenges of growth and development
Initiating, organizing and hosting a town hall style meeting discussing the pros and cons of Fresh
Water Supply Districts
Elected by peers to chair the Regional Transportation Council, a committee of vital importance to the

implement vital safety and road improvements, including $23M dollars in funding for FM 2181.
Initiated, host and coordinate Denton County Student Government Day, an event for high school
seniors to learn about county government.
Initiated, design, and write precinct newsletter and bi-weekly column to inform residents on county
issues and events.

Grew the company from $0 to million-dollar company, with $500K in gross profits, through several
