Be honest and be yourself.


Be thorough in your responses, while
being concise in your wording.
Back up statements about yourself with
specific examples whenever possible.
Be confident, smile a bit, and speak with
conviction.
Think of some good and intelligent
questions to ask the interviewers.
Maintain good eye contact during the
interview.

Do not go to the interview with a fixed


mindset.
Don't be unprepared for typical interview
questions.
Don't make excuses. Take responsibility
for your decisions and your actions.
Don't go to extremes with your posture;
don't slouch, and don't sit rigidly on the
edge of your chair.
Do not be arrogant.
Do not come across as boring.

Questions Asked: Tell us about yourself. (Directed them
towards my work experience); Do you always do what the
customer demands? (in terms of feasibility); How does the
ticketing system work in an IT industry?; Where do you
think this ticketing system can be implemented in a govt
offices?; Why has ticketing system not been implemented
in police stations? What are the challenges they face?;
Election related questions (PM candidates from different
parties). Who do you think would win and why?; Which
tagline is currently famous in terms of politics? Have you
heard of 'India Shining'?; What are the taglines of the
parties in your local state ?; Have you heard of a term called
cord-cutting?; Why does the Rupee Dollar rate fluctuate?
There were 4 members in the panel. No beating around the
bush answers. If you dont know say so to the panel. Keep
unsure answers short. Be prepared for situation based
questions. Take your time for such questions. If you give an
intelligent reply you will see the positive response on their
face.

PI Interviews
Interview 3: Profile: 10th 92.17%, 12th-91.6%, B.Tech. (ECE) 79.1%
I was asked about my own profile, with questions ranging from my family to education, hobbies and
achievements. Also, some questions pertinent to my trade in bachelor's degree were asked.
Interview 4: Profile: 10th - 89.2%, 12th-84.4%, B.Tech. (IT) 9.17, Accenture (23 months)
I was asked about basic introduction of myself, then what I was working on (as I had work experience),
some questions related to the same. Also I was asked a bit of general knowledge as in who is the chief
minister and the capital of the states etc.
Interview 5: Profile: 10th 80%, 12th-64%, B.Tech. (IT) 81%, Accenture (34 months)
I was first asked about my work profile and my achievements and learnings from the job experience. Also
because of my I.T. background, I was asked a bit about viruses and threats to a system.
Apart from this they asked me about my interests and as it was Cricket they asked me my view about
the difference between the captaincy styles of Dhoni and Ganguly.
Interview 6: Profile: 10th - 91.5%, 12th-77.6%, B.Tech. (CSE) 9.11
I was asked about my profile. I was asked about the politics of West Bengal. There were some
questions related to Kolkata as well (e.g. things you like or dislike about Kolkata, culture,
geography, etc.). Questions pertaining to the 150 words SOP were also asked in my interview.
