Conclusions
Based on the Interpretation discussed last chapter , most of the
respondents use boiling as their kind of preparation in making an effective
mouth spray but some are only using squeezing and only few use
pounding.
For the respondents it is effective when spray every after meal
but some are only using it once a day and only few use it twice a week and
no one used it once a week.
Most of the respondents used 17 ml x 3ml concentration is
effective for them and some only uses 12 ml x 8 ml and 10ml x 10 ml
concentrations and only few respondents uses 5ml x 15 ml concentration is
effective.
So therefore the researcher conclude that boiling, as a kind of
preparation, 17 ml by 13 ml concentration and spraying it after every meal
are the best ways in preparing an effective carrot skin mouth spray.
Recommendations

The researcher will therefore recommend to the future researchers

to investigate the components of carrot skin that can be applied in common
problems in our daily lives. It is recommended to study deeper about the
possible uses or benefits of carrot skin. After series of testing, the
researchers would like to recommend the carrot skin to be used by
companies to make an organic mouth spray for the community.

Background of the Study

Many Filipinos is suffering from oral problems. According to the
recent survey of Department of Health, 92.4 percent of Filipinos have
dental problems, 78 percent suffer from gum diseases, and 73.3 percent
does not go to dentist regularly. For many Filipinos that only have one
reason to go to dentist thats when their teeth are aching and they want this
to be removed. So they need a product that would satisfy them.

Statement of the problem

This helps us to know how effective carrot skin is in using as mouth
sprays and to know the disadvantages and advantages of using carrot skin
as mouth spray.
1. What are the factors that carrot skin can be used as mouth spray?
2. How will the use of carrot skin as mouth spray affect the following:
a. Strength of teeth
b. Saliva stimulation
c. Healthiness of gums
d. Odour of the breath
3. Are there any side effects of using carrot skin as mouth spray?

II. Significance of the study:

This study of carrots skin as alternative mouth spray gives a
cheaper and all natural effective mouth spray. This study helps us to know
how effective is carrot skin that can be used in making mouth sprays. This
study will help the people to have a new lifestyle of being organic and
being eco friendly by using the leftover peelings of carrots that are not
useful to others. This study will also help them to differentiate the benefits
of skin in other mouth sprays.
Purpose:
The goals of this study are to discover what are the other uses of
vegetables, to understand the causes or effects of using carrots skin as an
alternative mouth spray, refine our current understanding that carrots skin
are not useful to people, and to help people who cant afford to buy
commercial mouth sprays.
To the Students:
This study will help them to know that all natural is better than
commercial because chemicals are always bad.
To community:
This will help people who cannot afford buying mouth sprays.
III. Scope and limitations of the Study:
This study will only focused on how effective is the carrots skin
mouth spray on oral health of people. This is also covered the benefits,
results, and the advantages of using carrots skin mouth spray than the
