EXPLOITATION MANUAL
GENERAL INFORMATION
Vibroacoustic and Infrared Apparatus VITAFON-2 is a medical device produced in accordance with the Russian
State Standard GOST R 50444-92 and certified.
Its safety characteristics answer the requirements of the Russian State Standard GOST R 50267.0-92/
IEC 601-1:1988 for the equipment of class 2, type BF, non-water resistant. According to the degree of potential risk,
the apparatus belongs to the class 2a, GOST R 51609-2000; according to the possible consequences of the fault during
the exploitation process to the class B; according to the perceived mechanical effects to the class 2,
GOST R 50444-92. The type of climatic performance NF, category 4.2, GOST 15150-69.
FUNCTIONS OF VITAFON-2
The apparatus is to be used for prevention and treatment of the diseases, caused by dysfunctions of capillary blood
and lymph flows. Via its removable vibroacoustic converters VITAFON-2 produces microvibration of continuously
changing frequency and via its IR-converter impulse infrared emanation. Vibroacoustic and infrared therapy, applied
together or separately, produce local increase of capillary blood and lymph flows leading to detectable healing effect
of inflammation diseases and traumas.
VITAFON-2 is to be used in hospitals, other medical institutions and sanatoriums. It can be also effectively applied
by a patient at home, after consultation with a doctor and under his supervision.

ATTENTION! The switched on apparatus has dangerous alternating voltage. While using, follow general safety
rules for exploitation of electrical devices.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO WIPE A SWITCHED DEVICE WITH A WET NAPKIN. Keep the main body of the device dry.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE THE APPARATUS IN THE BATHROOMS OR IN THE SHOWER CABINS.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO DEMOUNT, REPAIR OR MODERNIZE THE APPARATUS BY ONES OWN OR
WITH THE HELP OF UNPROFESSIONAL SPECIALISTS. When during the exploitation any fault occurs, contact
the repair services, indicated in the Guarantee Coupon.
ATTENTION! FOR FIRE SAFETY BEFORE USING THE DEVICE MAKE SURE THAT THE SOCKET IS IN
ORDER AND THE PLUG AND CORD OF THE APPARATUS ARE UNDAMAGED.
Keep the apparatus from falling down and hitting by hard surfaces. Do not lay converters cords along.
If the extension cord is needed to switch on the apparatus, it is recommended to use the manufactured extension cord.
STRUCTURE OF THE APPARATUS
The VITAFON-2 apparatus (Picture 2) consists of the main block and removable converters: the vibrophones and
the IR-matrix.
Working surfaces of the single or double vibrophones and the vibroplate are the membranes. The work of the
vibrophones is accompanied with the continuous sounding of the membranes, changing within the sound range. Succession of the frequency change repeats in cycles during the work of the apparatus.
Working surface of an IR-matrix is a metal disc with equally located holes containing build-in optical elements.
Semiconductor radiators of invisible infrared radiation are used as optical elements, from which one central and three
equally distant optical elements are equipped with red light indicators. Lightening of the four red lights during the
exploitations process indicates that IR-matrix is in order.
Working surfaces of the converters are covered with a special alloy, which has decorative coating.

FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES OF VITAFON-2

1) Application at a time of one or two removable converters from the converter set. Automatic definition of the
converter applied on the display;
2) Manual choose of necessary treatment modes by special buttons (results are shown on the display);
3) Automatic change of average power of infrared impulses produced by the IR-matrix (for the dependence of the
infrared impulses power on the different modes see Picture 3);
4) Continuous automatic change of microvibration frequency produced by vibrophones (for the dependence of the
microvibration frequency change on the different modes see Picture 4);
5) Option of manual choose of microvibration amplitude by the ENERGY parameter, corrected according to the
patients weight and height;
6) Automatic start of 1-3 procedures of one type (with the same MODE, ENERGY, WEIGHT and HEIGHT parameters) within one day for modes 1-8; single programming of duration and starting time for every of these procedures;
7) Performance of procedures with periodical stops and starts (modes AUTO 1, AUTO 2, AUTO 3, AUTO 5,
AUTO 8, AUTO 12);
8) Option of choosing patients weight (WEIGHT) within the range of 3 120 kg, with the step of 1 kilo;
9) Option of choosing patients height (HEIGHT) within the range of 50 200 centimeters, with the step of 1 centimeter;
10) Option of choosing procedure duration (DURATION) within the range of 1 60 minutes, with the step of 1
minute;
11) Countdown and indication on the display of the time, left before the end of the procedure;
12) Keeping of the current time indication and the working modes lately used during electrical supply disorders or
when the apparatus was switched off for less than a month;
13) Change of a particular parameter for one unit by single pressing of the buttons , ; rapid change of a
particular parameter by continuous pressing of one of these buttons;
14) Short sound signals confirming pressing of buttons during data entry process; double sound signal when minimal
or maximal possible values of a particular parameter are entered;
15) Short sound and light signals when the procedure is near to be over;
16) Light indication of electrical connection;
17) Option of current time indication (after pressing of the button TIME).

PREPARATION OF THE APPARATUS AND THE OPERATION PROCEDURE

1. Preparation for the work and switching on
Make sure that the apparatus and its converters are not damaged. Before the first useing, wipe membranes with a
napkin to disinfect them. For this moisten a napkin with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and wring it out. Later on
do it when necessary.
Connect the apparatus to mains. Close the switch POWER. After that the light indicator will be switched and on
the display one will see the note about converters connected. If there are no connected converters, the note on the display will be as follows:

2. Programming of time settings
To read up current time data, press the button TIME. After that on the display one will see the note CURRENT
TIME in the upper line and indication of hours, minutes and seconds in the lower line. For example, the note on the
display can be as follows:

To finish current time data reading up, press the button TIME again.
To adjust current time data, press the button TIME and hold it for 4 seconds. After that the note on the display

Using buttons and , set the right indication of hours (e.g. 18) and confirm the data by pressing the button ENTER. The note on the display will be as follows:

make the indication of seconds equal to zero. Confirm the data by pressing the button ENTER. The note on the display will be as follows:

3. Connection of converters
Converters can be connected to both ports of the main block, LEFT and RIGHT. If there is only one single
vibrophone, connected to the LEFT port of the main block, the note on the display will be as follows:

4. Programming of parameters, start of procedure, interruption of procedure
Connect necessary converters to the main block see the treatment scheme and confirm the data on the converters connected by pressing the button ENTER. The note on the display will be as follows:

Use buttons and to choose necessary start mode.

Now one can press the button START to start the treatment procedure, if there is no need to adjust MODE,
ENERGY, WEIGHT, HEIGHT and DURATION parameters. In such case, these parameters will be taken from the
last procedure performed.
To enter new parameters, press the button ENTER instead of button START. Examples of parameters programming for different types of converters are given below.
To interrupt or discontinue the procedure, press the button RESET. After that the note on the display will be as
follows:

In 30 seconds this note will be automatically changed to the data about the converters connected.
5. Programming of parameters for the use of single vibraphone
For example, the following parameters are indicated in the particular treatment scheme:
single vibrophone, manual start, MODE 4, ENERGY 3, weight of the patient 75 kg, height 180 cm., treatment
DURATION 35 minutes.
Connect the single vibrophone to the left port of the main block. After that the note on the display will be as follows:

For the treatment by IR- matrix, one should enter only the data on the MODE and treatment DURATION according to the particular treatment scheme. For example, the following parameters are indicated in the particular treatment
scheme:

Connect the IR- matrix to the left port of the main block. After that the note on the display will be as follows:

9. Programming of parameters for the auto start of procedures
Procedures, for which MODES 1-8 are prescribed, can be performed in automatic regime (START AUTO). In
automatic mode it is possible to program parameters for 1-3 daily procedures (treatment sessions) of the same type
(with the same MODE, ENERGY, WEIGHT and HEIGHT parameters) with different treatment duration and different starting time for each procedure.
Connect the converters prescribed. Then, using buttons and , choose auto start option. The note on the
display will be as follows:

Press the button ENTER. Then, following the same principles, enter prescribed parameters of MODE, ENERGY, WEIGHT and HEIGHT parameters. The note on the display will be as follows:

Now the apparatus is ready for the programming of the duration and starting time of the first treatment session.
For example, the first session should be 15 minutes long and start at 09-30 a.m.
Using buttons and , programme the hour (09) when the session should start. The note on the display

Now the starting time and duration of the first treatment session are programmed. If you are to perform only one
session a day, it is enough to press the button START and the apparatus will automatically start the treatment procedure at the time entered. If you are to perform one more daily treatment session, after the pressing of button ENTER
you should enter the data for the second treatment session following the same algorithm, as described above for the
first session data entry. Then, accordingly, you may enter the data for the third daily treatment session.
If after programming of the starting time of one of the treatment sessions, the note on the display is as follows:

Press the button ENTER and programme correct data on hours and minutes of the following treatment session.
After programming of the parameters for the necessary number of treatment sessions, the note on the display is as

The symbol * on the display shows that the apparatus either works in automatic mode or is under programming
process.
When the apparatus works in the automatic mode, all its buttons are blocked. If necessary, working process can
be discontinued by pressing of the button RESET.
10. Automatic modes with periodic start
The modes AUTO 1, AUTO 2, AUTO 3, AUTO 5, AUTO 8 and AUTO 12 differ from the abovementioned modes
1-8 in a way that the treatment sessions automatically start with the programmed breaks till the button RESET is pressed or
the apparatus disconnected. For these modes the duration of every treatment session is equal 3 minutes but the breaks
between these sessions, according to the particular mode, can last from 3 to 36 minutes:
AUTO 1 3 minutes of work, 3 minutes of break, 3 minutes of work, 3 minutes of break etc.;

When the break is over, the next treatment session will start automatically and will last for 3 minutes, then, after
another break, this cycle will be repeated again and again till the button RESET is pressed or the apparatus disconnected.
If the button RESET was pressed, the apparatus will not keep the last programmed parameters and is ready for
new programming of the parameters. If the apparatus was disconnected from the mains, the last programmed parameters will be kept and, after switching on, the apparatus will continue its work according to the last entered program.
EXPLOITATION, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE CONDITIONS
The apparatus is to work properly for a long time in the following conditions: air temperature: + (25+10) ; relative humidity: 45 80 %.
To keep the device in working condition, one should ship and store it duely packed, with air temperature being
within (-10 / +40 ) and relative humidity not more than 80 %. To prevent damage of liquid-crystalline display, it is
not advisable to utilize the device than the air temperature is less than -10 .
After a long-distance shift or cooling, the device is to stay in the normal conditions (room temperature) unswitched
for 4 hours.
For disinfection the main body and removable converters are to be wiped with a napkin slightly moistened with a
3% hydrogen peroxide solution.
During long breaks between treatment sessions the plug should be switched off from the socket, the converters
detached from the main body and put into their protective cases. The apparatus and its parts should be stored in their
initial package.

USER GUIDE
A new branch of medicine appeared in 1994 the treatment by dosed microvibration effect. Due to its high effectiveness and relatively low cost, vibroacoustic therapy has become widely popular very fast.
Treatment methods described in the Users Guides for vibroacoustic apparatuses are based on the effect of increase of blood and lymph flows in the zones of vibroacoustic therapy. They are resulted from clinical and medical
examinations on vibroacoustic therapy made before the middle of 2002.
At the same time more and more facts connected with vibroacoustic therapy were found out, which could not be
explained just by the effect of increase of blood and lymph flows. During the attempts to find valid explanation it
was noticed that every living organism has its own microvibrational background. It appeared to be that all muscle
fibres are continuously vibrating, even while sleeping. Thus the assumption was made that microvibration is one of
the resources of every living organism.
This assumption became the base of resource conception of the processes, which take place in a living organism. It was a surprise that this conception gave logical explanations to many paradoxes and united previously
fragmentary pieces of knowledge. This resulted in clear understanding how one can raise the immunity, defeat the
diseases and postpone infirmity and ageing. These knowledge were expounded in the book of the group of Russian
scientists Resources of an organism immunity, health, longevity /1/.
One can find in the book strong proofs that vibroacoustic resource support is necessary not only for the medical
treatment purposes but also for general increasing of physical and mental human abilities. It is needed by grownups, children, babies.

Physiological mechanism of vibroacoustic effect
Microvibrations are present in every living organism and play there the same role as Brownian motion in abiotic environment. In the case when Brownian motion stops (e.g. when the temperature equals absolute zero) the chemical reactions stop. And all physiological and biochemical processes stop when no microvibration take place. Microvibrations
important and indispensable resource of the organism, comparable to food and oxygen. /1/.
A plant receives the microvibration energy from the wind, rain and animals activity. Animals and people have to
activate microvibrations by themselves. The sources of microvibrations are the activities of different muscle fibers,
performed even when the organism is resting or sleeping. While sleeping, the organism has to reduce background
muscle activity at least twice; it helps the organism to restore muscle resources. This reduction makes the lymph outflow from the tissues lower and, as a result, causes morning edemas, constraint in movements, sometimes painful sensations. Not mobile style of life essentially reduces the general level of microvibrations in an organism. This, sooner or
later, leads to different diseases.
The voice, usually used for the communication, satiates the lung and head with microvibrations. A baby cries so often and loud because crying helps him to saturate his body with microvibrations. Quite often it is enough to rock the
cradle to calm him. In the state of the deep rest, the cats start to purr; by doing this they compensate the decrease in
microvibration background. There is a proverb, that laughing prolongs our lives. Now we know that this saying has
serious physiological reasons.
Vibroacoustic therapy allows increasing of microvibration background of a human organism. This is the reason
why this kind of therapy is so effective and the field of its application is so broad. Vibroacoustic apparatuses use the
range of frequencies and vibrational amplitude which are equal to the natural microvibrations, produced by any living
organism.

Treatment zones
As a rule, vibroacoustic treatment should cover several treatment zones within a single procedure. The main treatment zones usually are the zone of pathology and the zones which dont have their own muscle tissue kidneys,
liver and the spinal column. Recourses of the whole human organism depend on the intensity of microvibrations in
these zones. /1/.
Every pathology causes redundant quantity of affected cells and metabolic products, utilization of which is a necessary condition of recovery. Lymphatic and venous outflows as well as activity of lymphatic knots and kidneys play the
most important role in this utilization process. Coming into blood, slags break acid and alkanine balance. Buffer characteristics of blood and activities of kidneys are to prevent this break. When kidneys are not active enough to keep the
balance, to preserve blood parameters an organism increases arterial pressure and decreases local blood outflow not to
receive from tissues products of dis-balance. So, treatment of the kidney zone is the main part of vibroacoustic
therapy. It causes activation of kidneys functions, prevention of arterial pressure increase and local blood outflow decrease. Kidney zone is usually treated in accordance with different methods of vibroacoustic therapy.
Vibroacoustic therapy at the liver zone provides acceleration of slag detoxication and utilization and considerably
diminishes allergic manifestations.
Vibroacoustic therapy at the zone of the spinal column is also very important. A particular spine zone often innervates pathology area, even a small oedema or pinch of a nerve root often causes a disease. Vibroacoustic treatment of
the particular spine zone accelerates blood supplement of suppressed nerve fibres and helps to remove an oedema or
intervertebral disc decompession.
More than this, vibroacoustic therapy at the zone of the spinal column increases the quantity of ancestral stem cells,
coming into blood (Patent of Russian Federation 2166924). Ancestral stem cells play the main role in the process of
rejuvenation of bodily tissues.
Vibroacoustic therapy at the zone of pathology provides acceleration of slag detoxication, diminishes oedemas, intensifies immune reactions and raises efficiency of drug treatment.
Healing effect of infra-red emanation
Therapeutic effect of infrared emanation is based on acceleration of microcirculation in body tissues, activation of
natural physical and biochemical processes in an organism and reduction of inflammation process.
The frequency of IR-matrix is continuously changing in accordance with a given cycle program from 3 mW to
40 mW. More than it, the steel-plate of IR-matrix also has built-in IR-converters, which produce little temperature
decrease in the application zone of body (2-3o). This causes acceleration of micro-shivering of constrictors and improvement of local lymphatic and venous outflow.
IR-matrix uses IR-diodes with a narrow emanation line and the average wave length of 0,95m. Treatment by
IR-emanation of this kind produces anti-inflammation effect.
Duration of treatment procedures
During vibroacoustic treatment of pathology zone more slags come out through lymphatic and venous outflow. The
longer treatment takes place, the more breaking acid and alkanine balance slags come out from the pathology zone.
This increases activity of kidneys and may lead to compensatory increase of pressure. So, in majority of cases total
daily local treatment of pathology zone should continue less than total daily treatment of kidney zone.
To prevent large inflammation process in cases of chronic diseases (it may be caused by quick inflammation mediators income through blood to the pathology zone) duration of treatment should be prolonged continuously for 1-3
minutes every day, starting from 3-10 minutes. For long and severe diseases initial duration and dose should be little
and are to increase continuously. Exacerbation of chronic process usually occurs in 3-7 days after the treatment start,
in some cases it can take up to 2 weeks. So, the dose should be prolonged continuously within the term of 1-3 weeks in
depending on duration and severity of the disease.
Treatment can be dosed not only by its duration but also by capacity, given by the ENERGY parameter. This
should be used for the treatment of highly sensitive patient, having manifestations of exacerbation already after 2-3
minutes of vibroacoustic treatment. In such cases the ENERGY is to be increased one step per every week, starting
from the first one.
Manifestations of exacerbation are normal and show positive dynamics of the treatment. However, they produce negative
psychological reaction in patient and on this reason should be minimized. One should take into account that probability of exacerbation start becomes lower if a daily dose of treatment is received via several short procedures (2-6 per day).
Oppositely, there are the cases when exacerbation of chronic process is to be provoked. This should be done by
long single local treatments in the pathology zone performed with a break of several days between the procedures. For
every treatment the ENERGY parameter should be 1-2 steps more or treatment duration is to be 2-3 times longer than
a normal one. If no effect occurs, both the ENERGY and treatment duration are to be increased.
MODE is also an important characteristic, concerning range of treatment frequencies. MODEs differ by their infrasound energy and by treatment toughness. All in all there are 6 different MODEs: 1, 2, 5, 7, 3, 4 and 6.

Choosing of parameters MODE and ENERGY

MODE and ENERGY parameters are to be chosen depending on the treatment zone.
Bowels are the zone, the most sensitive to microvibrations of all kinds. In a bowels zone MODEs 3, 4, 6, and ENERGY steps 3 and 4 are not to be applied. The only exception is a full bowels dyscenisia after surgeries. Still the
treatment in these MODEs is to be brief and accompanied with vibroacoustic therapy of low intensity.
MODEs 3, 4, 6 accelerate lymphatic outflow and are to be applied at extremities for the treatment of traumatic oedemas and hematomas. MODEs 3, 4 and 6 can be briefly applied for the treatment of internal organs for the achievement of anti-inflammation effect in chronic pathologies.
For the treatment of internal organs MODEs 1, 2, 5 and 7 are to be applied.
MODE 8 is applied only together with a point converter for the shaking of stones in the pelvis. This can be done
only in hospital. This MODE can be also applied at home for the treatment of biologically active points on extremities.
Time and duration of the treatment course
Procedures are to be performed daily or with a break of 1-2 days. Detectable healing effect usually occurs when the
course is over. Duration of the course depends on the degree of severity, duration and other characteristics of a disease
and varies from several days to several months. It is an interesting fact that the healing effect will be stored and accumulated if the treatment by VITAFON-2 takes place periodically.
ATTENTION! If vibroacoustic therapy takes place simultaneously in accordance with several different schemes
for the treatment of different diseases, total duration of a single treatment session should not exceed 1 hour. Breaks
between different treatment courses should not be less than 5 days, if there is no special note in the treatment scheme.
Habitation to the vibroacoustic treatment
Habitation for the vibroacoustic treatment was never registered. Still there is a kind of dependence on vibroacoustic
therapy for some chronic diseases, e.g. hypertension, ademona and some other. It means that in some time (usually in
some months) after the healing effect is reached and the treatment is over the result achieved continuously degrades. In
such cases treatment courses are to be repeated periodically or the so-called supplementary treatment is to be performed (1-3 times a week).
Combination with drug therapy
Vibroacoustic treatment can be effectively combined with the drug therapy. However, one should take into consideration
that drug efficiency improves within the scope of VITAFON-2 action, and in some cases it may become necessary to reduce
initial drug dose. Many drugs have different side-effects and patients can feel badly while taking drugs.
Sensations
During the treatment procedure, sensations are generally absent or there is a pleasant feeling of warmth or vibration. In the case of a chronic disease, an aggravation of pain usually occurs. It is normal and shows positive dynamics.
The aggravation of pain can be considerably reduced by little continuous prolongation of session duration and, if necessary, by the use of anti-inflammatory of bactericidal drugs.
Rules of application of vibrophones
IR-matrix and point converter should be applied directly to the patients body. Membranes surfaces are to be applied to the body covered with a gauze, paper or cotton towel. The vibroplate should be located under the back of a
laying patient; its surface should be covered with thin moisture-proof material.
All converters should be fixed with an elastic bandage, special fixing equipment for the apparatuses from the Vitafon family or can be simply supported by hands and pressed by the patients own weight. Membranes and converters surfaces should be applied closer to the body. The maximum sensation of vibration at the low frequency range
may serve as a criterion of the right application. It is not advisable to press converters with a too much effort, because
it will result in the cessation of microvibration and, consequently, of the curative action.
Converters can be placed at any distance from each other (if there is no special note in the treatment scheme) within
one plane or at any angle. It is not advisable to locate vibrophones with their converters exactly towards each other, if
the distance between two converters is less than 10 cm. In this case they will suppress each others energy and the
healing effect will be diminished.
For the treatment of joints and in some other cases it is recommended to apply the vibrophones with the edge of 90 to
each other. (Picture 5). In this case the action of the apparatus at the intersection of the vibrophones axes is maximal.

Contraindications
VITAFON-2 should not be applied in the following cases:
- in body areas of oncologic pathology;
- in pregnancy;
- in body areas affected by thrombophlebitis;
- in body areas affected by apparent atherosclerosis;
- during acute infectious diseases;
- during body fever;
- where implanted pacemakers are active.
Due to the fact that no treatment schemes are worked out yet, it is forbidden to locate vibrophones directly onto the
heart area.
If particular body areas having stones (gall and urinary bladder etc.) become part of the treatment zone, the therapy
should be performed only after doctors permission and under his control.

FRACTURES AND POSTTRAUMATIC JOINT CONTRACTURES

VITAFON-2 is used to accelerate fracture healing, to increase the strength of connective tissue, to prevent complications, to remove swelling and itching within areas covered with fixed dressing, and to restore joint activity. One
should start treatment with the apparatus not earlier than in 3-4 days after trauma and after prior treatment. VITAFON-2 may be applied to areas where there are metal inserts. The apparatus can be used in combination with other
means of treatment, including plaster bandage and Yelizarovs apparatus.
A patient should lie supine.
. TREATMENT OF EXTREMITIES FRACTURES
A pillow should be placed under the fractured extremity to elevate it higher than the heart level and to accelerate
blood outflow.
Treatment procedures should be performed at the Zone and at the fracture zone. At the fracture zone vibrophones
should be located as follows:
- In the case of plaster fixation, one vibrophone is to be placed directly over the plaster, the other upper to the
bandage on the smooth body area, nearest to the fracture.
- In the case of metal inserts fixation, one vibrophone is to be placed lower to the fracture, the other 3-4 cm. up from it.

For the treatment of posttraumatic stiffness of joints the only one converter double vibraphone is to be applied.
Vibrophones are placed at the joint zone at the angle of 90o to each other. During first 5 minutes of the procedure, special joint gymnastics should be made (long banding of the injury with little pressure 20-30 sec., then long opening).
For the treatment of posttraumatic stiffness of joints the following parameters should be used:

OSTEOCHONDROSIS, RADICULITIS, GENERALIZED

OSTEOCHONDROSIS
1. Treatment should be performed in accordance with the schemes 5-9, if doctor does not prescribe some other
scheme. Daily number of procedures 2 (once in the morning, once in the evening).
2. Manual start.
Duration of the treatment course for the treatment of osteochondrosis and radiculitis of the spinal column -21 days,
for generalized osteochondrosis 3 months.
A patient should lie supine on a soft bad.
During the first 10 days, a painful area should be treated with 5% iodine solution before going to bed. It is essential
to keep the painful area warm throughout the course of treatment.
It is recommended to treat only one kind of osteochondrosis and radiculitis at a time.
If one takes hypotensional drugs and during the treatment his blood pressure becomes too low, the dose is to be
corrected.
Treatment must be accompanied with the daily monitoring of arterial pressure. In the case of elevation of arterial pressure, the treatment must be discontinued. In the case of giddiness or weakness, the procedure duration should be reduced.
In the case of cardiac arrhythmia of after infarction treatment of the thorax area of the spine can be performed only
after consulting with a doctor and under his supervision.
In the case of mild atherosclerosis the treatment is to be performed only at the zone K, excluding any spine zone.
In the case of kidney stones the treatment can be performed only after consulting with a doctor and under his supervision.
To achieve stable effect one should undergo 2-4 courses of treatment. The interval between treatment courses is 2 weeks.
Treatment of osteochondrosis and radiculitis of the jugular area of the spine should be performed in accordance with the scheme 5.
Every procedure consists of 3 sessions. A pillow should be placed under patients neck and shoulders.

Treatment of generalized osteochondrosis is to be performed in accordance with the scheme 9.
Connected to the left port vibroplate should be formed as one raw (see Picture 6) and put along the spinal column; the
upper end of it should be in the middle of the neck. Converter, connected to the right port, should be fixed at the Zone .
After the course is over, one should have a break of 1-3 months. After the break the treatment course should be repeated from the day 8 to the day 90.

A patient should lie supine. If necessary, a small pillow can be placed under the pelvis to keep the horizontal position.

Start the session.
General recommendations: Intensified course is not to be performed if the standard one is not finished. During
cold seasons, a patient should stay in the warm chamber for not less than an hour after the treatment procedure.
Throughout the course of treatment it is necessary to keep the pelvis area warm (long underwear, long coat etc.).
The treatment of acute prostatitis should be combined with taking antibiotics (prescribed by a doctor) and performed under medical supervision.
In the course of treatment of chronic prostatitis, an aggravation of pain sensations usually occurs and continues for
5-10 days. In rare cases, a transient decline of potency may be experienced on days from 2 to 4 after the treatment
start. On days from 8 to 14 the potency steadily increases. In such cases antibiotics are required.
If prostatitis is associated with a bladder problem, products of cleaning and reparation processes may be discharged
with urine. After 10-14 days urine becomes clear, pain subsides, the frequency of urination substantially decreases and
potency improves.
In case of chronic prostatitis 2-4 courses of treatment are required. A break after the first course should be 3-5 days,
after the second and the third courses 2-3 weeks.

ADENOMA (BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA)

The apparatus should be used according to the recommendations of the urologist for the treatment of benign
prostatic hyperplasia of the first (sometimes also the second) stage (residual urine not more than 150 mm) to reduce
painful sensations in the perineum zone and to reduce urination frequency.
Contraindication: prostate cancer.
The first treatment course the preparative one should be performed in accordance with the scheme 15. After a break
of one week the second treatment course the basic one should be performed in accordance with the scheme 16. To
strengthen the effect achieved, it is recommended to repeat the basic course after a break of two weeks. Then the patient should perform supportive course in accordance with the scheme 17.
During cold seasons, a patient should stay in the warm chamber for not less than an hour after the end of the treatment procedure. Throughout the course of treatment it is necessary to keep the pelvis area warm (warm clothes etc.).
Vibroacoustic therapy can be applied in combination with the drug treatment. In the case of specific infection, the
drug treatment course prescribed by the urologist should precede vibroacoustic treatment.
A patient should lie supine. If necessary, a small pillow can be placed under the pelvis to keep the horizontal position and to enhance blood circulation. It is advisable not to urinate before the treatment.
PREPARATIVE TREATMENT COURSE
1. Treatment should be performed in accordance with the scheme 15. Daily number of procedures 1.

TROPHIC ULCERS
Attention! Do not use any ointments during the treatment with the apparatus. The treatment should not be

A patient should lie supine. Before a treatment procedure, treat the edges of the ulcer with iodine solution, in 3 cm.
of diameter.
Treatment zones are K, the ulcer and tissues nearby; zones D2 and E1 for ulcers on upper extremities and zones E3
and E4 for ulcers on lower extremities.
For the treatment of the ulcer zone itself, IR-matrix should be placed exactly on the ulcer. For disinfecting one should
moisten a napkin with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, wring it out and wash the IR-matrix before and after the treatment.
Vibrophones are applied to the edges of the affected area (in 1-2 cm. from the ulcer) covered with a gauze, paper or
cotton towel.
Every morning procedure consists of 1 session, every evening procedure of 3 sessions.

Prevent the contact of wet discharges with the apparatusess converters during the treatment procedures.

The vibroplate should be formed in two raws (see Picture 7) and put under the pelvis zone and lower part of the
back; the upper end of it should be fixed at the Zone .

For the days 1 3 one should every day enter correct data for three daily procedures in the automatical mode.

CONSTIPATION

In the case of a single constipation, it will be enough to perform 3-4 procedures.
If constipation lasts more than 4 days it is advisable to give an enema before the treatment in order not to traumatize bowels.
In the case of chronic constipation it is recommended to perform three full treatment courses with a break of 2-3
days after every finished course.
If vibroacoustic treatment by VITAFON-2 takes place in complex with drug therapy, a daily drug dose of purgatives is to be gradually reduced from the third day of treatment.

VITAFON-2 is used to ameliorate pain and swelling, reduce dental loosening via blood supply restoration in the inflammation zone; it also shortens time of healing and helps to avoid complications after medical manipulations, including dental surgery.
PERIODONTITIS, PARADONTOSIS, STOMATITIS, RECOVERY AFTER DENTAL SURGICAL OPERATIONS
In the case of periodontitis and paradontosis, the apparatus should be applied as an additional therapy during the
traditional treatment course. It should be used after removing of subgingival plague.

Duration of the treatment course for one joint is three weeks. In case of neglected disease it is advisable to perform
3-4 treatment courses with an interval of 1-2 weeks.
If a patient feels strong pain during the treatment, treatment duration is to be reduced. It is not recommended to
treat several joints at a time.
If after treatment procedures pressure elevation, giddiness or weakness occurs, the treatment is to be interrupted for
a diagnosis confirmation.
Vibrophones are applied to a joint at its most flat part at an angle of approximately 90 to each other. (Picture 5).
A patient should lie supine. Before the procedure, a joint should be treated with an anti-inflammation agent (if you

To reduce inflammation process, the trauma zone should be treated with iodine solution (2-3 cm.). One should keep
in mind that iodine treatment might be performed only if there are no traces of previously applied iodine on the skin.
The duration of iodine treatment course 5-10 days.
It is usually very difficult to apply converters in the cases of spine traumas, especially during the first 30 days. One
can fix at the patient a set of three joint converters. Choosing of the necessary converter will be performed by the
change of cords switched on.
Every procedure consists of two sessions.
- connected to the left and right ports at the trauma zone, symmetrically concerning the spinal column within the
fracture zone to treat the maximum area.

VITAFON-2 is used to shorten treatment, accelerate forming of epidermis and to prevent complications and scars.

MAXILLARY SINUSITIS
Attention! In the case of enlarged adenoids, the treatment must be performed under the doctors supervision.
In the case of acute maxillary sinusitis, clean the Highmore sinuses before using the apparatus (to be done by otolaryngologist).
The apparatus is also to be used exactly after surgical treatment. The apparatus can be used in combination with the
drug therapy prescribed by the doctor.
For the treatment of chronic maxillary sinusitis it is recommended to undergo 2-3 treatment courses with a break of
two weeks after every finished course.
In preventive purposes the treatment course must be repeated once-twice a year.
During the first 6-8 days of the treatment, the thorax should be treated with iodine solution before going to bed
(5% iodine solution, treatment square about two palms).
During treatment sessions a vibrophone and an IR-matrix are to be replaced with each other for every new procedure.

RHINITIS (RUNNING NOSE)

With a timely treatment, it is possible to prevent the progression of the disease. In the course of treatment, a heavy
nasal discharge may sometimes occur for the period of 1-2 days. If on the 14th day of treatment nasal discharges are
not over, the patient should consult with an allergologist.
In the case of allergic rhinitis, the apparatus should be used only at the final stage of treatment in combination with
antiallergic preparations prescribed by the doctor.
Visible symptoms can be over already after 3-4 days of treatment but it is recommended to finish the full course in
order to prevent symptomatic relapse.
1. Treatment of rhinitis should be performed at the early stage of the disease in accordance with the scheme 39, if

BRONCHITIS
VITAFON-2 is used to shorten treatment, prevent complications and consolidate the effects of treatment after recovery.
The apparatus can be used in combination with the drug therapy, prescribed by the doctor.
In the case of arrhythmia, the application of vibrophones to the zones E1 and F must be excluded.
The apparatus can be used in combination with the drug therapy. During the treatment, coughing may get worse. In
such case one can reduce the duration of zones C and C1 treatment. It is essential that throughout the course of treatment the thorax should be kept warm.

ESSENTIAL HYPERTENSION

Attention! If in the course of treatment arterial pressure increases, the treatment should be discontinued for checking of vibrophones position and diagnosis confirmation.
In the case of nephrolithiasis (stones less than 4 cm.) the treatment should be performed under the doctors supervision according to his recommendations. If the patient has stones in one kidney (less than 4 cm. in size), the treatment
should be performed only in the zone of healthy kidney (both vibrophones are to be applied at the zone K from the
side of the healthy kidney). Any disease of the only kidney is a strict contraindication against self-treatment. In this
case application of vibroacoustic therapy must be approved by the doctor. If the patient has stones of more than 4 cm.
in both kidneys, treatment by VITAFON-2 may be applied only after surgical removal of stones in hospital.
Contraindications:
- Acute inflammatory process in the kidneys (such manifestations as blood pressure increase or blood in urine after
vibroacoustic therapy).
- If the patient treats the only kidney he/she has, it is strictly forbidden to undergo vibroacoustic treatment by his/her
own initiative. In such cases vibroacoustic treatment should be indicated only by the doctor.
A patient should lie supine or sit. In the case of falling of a kidney the patient must lie supine during the treatment
and vibrophone is to be placed in the zone of falling kidney (2-3 cm. lower from the K zone).
The column Drug dose in the Schemes 45-48 show the general tendency of daily drug dose reduction. Drug dose
may be reduced only if stable healing effect was achieved during previous procedures. Full daily dose is the dose prescribed by the doctor for usual taking. The minimal dose is the drug dose reduction of which leads to elevation of optimal arterial pressure. Optimal pressure can be measured by the satisfactory state of the patients health. During the
treatment, the drug dose should be corrected to keep higher systolic pressure within the range of 145160 mm. of mercury, if doctor does not prescribe some other scheme.
It is not recommended to reduce the drug dose fast. To keep arterial pressure at the optimal level, the dose should
be gradually reduced up to the achievement of desirable clinical effect together with prolongation of single VITAFON-2 session. After some time it will become possible to keep optimal pressure by vibroacoustic procedures only.
This period continues for 16 weeks or more depending on the severity and age of hypertension. After full drug
withdrawal arterial pressure should continue to reduce for 110 mm. of mercury for every week of vibroacoustic treatment (usually 2 -4 mm. of mercury weekly) depending on the severity and age of hypertension.
During treatment according to the schemes 4548 it should be taken into consideration that vibroacoustic therapy
reinforces effect of antihypertensive drugs. So, patients receiving vibroacoustic treatment in combination with drug
therapy should obey the following rules:
- daily control of arterial pressure (in the morning and in the evening);
- daily drug dose should be taken during the day in equal parts or as it is recommended by the doctor;
- full drug withdrawal can take place only on the condition that arterial pressure does not increase higher than
160 mm. of mercury when no drugs are taken;
- it should be taken into consideration that the effect of vibroacoustic therapy becomes obvious in 1-2 hours after the
first procedure and is effective from 6 to 24 hours; more than it, the healing effect accumulates with every new procedure performed.
After completion of the full treatment course in accordance with the schemes 4348 it is necessary to perform supportive preventive procedures one six times a week. Preventive procedures are described at the end of each scheme.
Total daily duration of these supportive procedures is 20-60 min. They can be divided into 1, 2 or 3 treatment sessions.
The most important point of preventive treatment is to choose such weekly duration of the kidney zone treatment that
will keep arterial pressure at its optimal level. Optimal is the level of satisfactory state of the patients health. If preventive treatment was discontinued for more than a month, duration of a treatment session should be prolonged gradually. Sessions, missed due to the circumstances, can be compensated by elevation of duration or frequency of other
sessions performed on the same day or on the next days.
If arterial pressure of the patient elevates for the first time and is not more than 140/90 mm. of mercury, it is
recommended to perform a single procedure according to the scheme 23. Duration of this single procedure should be
10 minutes.
To make the effect achieved stable, this procedure may be repeated within next 2-4 days, treatment duration being
elevated up to 15-20 min.
In the case of hypertension of the stage 1, the treatment is to be performed in accordance with the schemes 43
and 44 with no simultaneous drug therapy. If arterial pressure comes to its maximum in the morning, the treatment
should be performed in the evening. If maximum pressure occurs in the afternoon or in the evening, the treatment
should be performed in the morning.

In the case of stable elevation of arterial pressure (hypertension of stage 2-3, arterial pressure more than
160/100 mm. of mercury), the treatment should be performed in accordance with the scheme 45, in combination with
drugs prescribed by the doctor. In the case if after 4 weeks of treatment the effect achieved is not a sufficient one and the
full drug dose is still required, it is recommended to continue vibroacoustic treatment in accordance with the scheme 46.
In the case of systolic arterial hypertension (old people hypertension) when elevation only of systolic arterial
pressure takes place (systolic arterial pressure higher than 160 mm. of mercury, diastolic pressure less than 90 mm. of
mercury), the treatment should be performed in accordance with the scheme 47.
In the case of nephrogenetic hypertension, the treatment should be performed in accordance with the scheme 48.
In the case of physical overload, stress or supercooling it is recommended to perform an additional treatment
procedure according to the scheme 23. The duration of such procedure should be 15-20 minutes.
It is also possible to prolong a scheduled treatment session for 15-20 min.
This procedure can be also performed to remove high arterial pressure caused by taking unusual doses of alcohol. In such case it should be performed not earlier than in 6 hours after taking alcohol. Then 1-2 additional sessions
with total duration of 90 min. are to be performed (the first of them should last for not less than in 40 min., the second
is to be performed in 6-7 hours after the first).

VITAFON-2 is applied for blood supplement reconstruction in the tissues burned by high temperature, aggressive

FROSTBITES AND SUPERCOOLING

The apparatus is applied in order to achieve restoration of blood supplement in the bodily tissues affected by coldness; to remove edema and inflammatory manifestations after heating of the frostbitten areas.
After frostbite it is forbidden to apply direct heat or to rub affected areas for several hours. Warming up should be
caused by natural blood supplement of frostbitten areas so, vibroacoustic therapy must be started as soon as possible.
If necessary, treat the affected skin with alcohol or iodine solution and make a sterile bandage before the treatment.
A patient should lie supine or sit during the treatment (depending on the location and severity of the frostbite).

TRACHEITIS
The VITAFON-2 apparatus is used to shorten treatment and prevent complications. The therapy by VITAFON-2
can be applied together with drug treatment.
During the treatment course coughing can get worse. In such case, one can reduce treatment duration at the zones
and 10.
It is essential that throughout the course of treatment the thorax should be kept warm.
2. Manual start.
Patients position:
- For the treatment at the Zones and a patient should lie supine;
- For the treatment at the Zones , 10, 1 and D2 a patient should sit or recline with a pillow under the neck and
shoulders.
During the first 5 days of the treatment, the thorax should be treated with iodine solution before going to bed (5%
iodine solution, treatment square about two palms).

2. Manual start.
3. Duration of the treatment course 14 days (then procedures should be performed once-trice a week).
If necessary, the treatment course can be repeated after a break of 1 3 weeks.
A patient should lie supine. If necessary, a small pillow can be placed under shins.
It is recommended not to get up after the procedure till the end of the night. While sleeping, legs should be slightly
elevated (e.g. by several layers of a blanket).
During the treatment course a vibrophone and an IR-matrix are to be replaced with each other for every
new procedure.

Resource support of the organism is one of the main components of successful patients cure. Microvibration is an
important and indispensable resource, needed by the body tissues even while sleeping. Periodical start mode is the
most effective for the resource support of the organism because little single doses provide gradual organisms reactions and allow receiving of the dose needed. Liver and kidneys are the most important organs, which supply the
whole organism with resources so, they are the first to be treated.

COMPLICATIONS OF INFANTILE CEREBRAL PARALYSIS

The treatment of complications of infantile cerebral paralysis should be performed according to the doctors recommendations and under his supervision.

3. Duration of the full treatment course 91 days (the full treatment course consists of three sub-courses per one
week each with a break of two weeks after every finished sub-course).
A patient should lie supine during the treatment.

The VITAFON-2 apparatus can be applied for the treatment of furunculosis, carbunculosis and acne at the earlier
stages of their formation (reddening, swelling) or after their surgical d-bridement / drain of abscess only on the assumption of regular pus outflow.

Enter correct data in accordance with the treatment scheme. If necessary, clean the focus of affection before using the
apparatus (remove the pus, treat the surface with alcohol or iodine solution). Apply vibrophones at the affected area

HEMATOMAS AND INJURIES

Vibrophones are applied directly to the injured area. In the case of deep hematoma, two vibrophones are placed at
the angle of 900 and directed toward a hematoma (Picture 5).
In cases of inveterate hematomas, procedure duration may be increased up to 40 minutes and the course of treatment may be increase up to 3-4 weeks.
In cases of hematomas on the head or on any internal organs, the treatment can be performed only after consultation with a doctor and under his supervision.

GUARANTEES
The VITAFON-2 apparatus is certified in a proper way, answers all technical requirements and corresponds to
the sample approved.
The warranty period is 12 months from the purchasing date, on the condition that exploitation and storage rules,
given in the present User Manual, are followed and the Acceptance Act contains the manufactures stamp. The warranty storage period is 2 years from the manufacturing date.
If purchasing date is not indicated or there is no distributors stamp in the Acceptance Act and Guarantee Coupon,
the guarantee term begins from the manufacturing date.
Repair, change or return of the purchased apparatus is performed in accordance with the Russian legislation and
Consumers Remedy Law. If an apparatus is out of order within the warranty term, its owner can repair or change it for
free on the condition that the Guaranty Coupon is presented. The apparatus can be changed in the place where it was
bought.
Guarantee is not valid in the following cases:
- if there is no Guarantee Coupon;
- if stamps on the apparatus are damaged;
- if exploitation and storage rules were not followed by the user;
- if the apparatus is physically damaged.
In these cases the apparatus can be repaired at the expense of its owner.
Manufacturer is not to be blamed in cases of damages, produced in the main block by water or other liquids, substances or objects inside. The manufacturer is also not responsible for damages caused by natural conditions, fire or
