CEN issues European Standards (EN)

the EN standards are available at national
standardization bodies (SRPS www.iss.rs)
the EN standards are normally not obligatory
the EN standards can be made obligatory if
directly reffered to in the regulations
the EN standards are worked-out in the working
groups (WG) of the CEN Technical Committees
(CEN/TC)
in principle any organization of industrial
enterprises can propose and work-out a
standard
