SERIES

Pure Aquas water softeners remove hardness in exchange for salt. The resin attracts hardness in the
water and exchanges it with salt, which is regenerated periodically. As the resin accumulates more
hardness, the system must be regenerated using a brine solution. This rinses away the hardness and
replenishes salt on the surface of the resin. The softened water can then pass through an RO system to
remove the salt without the risk of scaling.
