The whole program is very practical that I am well equipped from this. I have opportunities
to learn some novel sports, such as Rugby-7 and Futsal and attend lessons delivered by Mr.
Laslie Grorge Santos and his football school. I have more confidence to start my career in
coaching after graduation.

I studied in the Diploma for Tertiary Studies (Applied Korean Language and Culture) in HKCT after completing
DSE. After the 1-year Diploma, I studied in Higher Diploma in Corporate Communication and Language Studies
(Korean). It fulfills the needs in enhancing my Korean competence, as well as corporate communication knowledge.
Humbly and gratefully, I want to express my gratitude to the College for putting much resource in training and
fostering us, which makes our HKCT life wonderful, prosperous and comprehensive. I also appreciate my teachers
assistance and guidance throughout my life in the College. Without them, I wont be able to be admitted directly
to the City University of Hong Kong (BA) after completing the Higher Diploma year 1 curriculum. Teachers also
encouraged me to participate in various intra- and extra-curricular activities, which included Wai Yin Association
Charity Ball, Korea Study Tour, Student Ambassador, etc.

Having attained the qualification of N2 in Japanese-Language Proficiency Test, I am confident that my Japanese
has improved tremendously because teachers of HKCT encouraged me to practice Japanese often. This
programme combines Corporate Communication with Japanese language and culture which enable me to
consolidate my knowledge and improve my communication skills. I have also participated in the Work Integrated
Learning Project, which allows me to use Japanese at work. Most importantly, I can make judgment from different
perspectives.

For students who have successfully completed the Maths Plus elective
subject, the qualification acquired under the Programme is comparable
to the attainment of Level 2 standard in five subjects including Chinese
Language, English Language and Mathematics in the HKDSE Examination.
The Yi Jin Diploma is recognized under the Qualifications Framework as
meeting the accreditation standards at Qualifications Framework Level 3.
This recognition is applicable to the Yi Jin Diploma qualification obtained
by students who are admitted to the full-time or part-time programme and
who have graduated after successfully competing all the five core and three
elective subjects during the 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2015/16 academic years.
Both full-time and part-time eligible YJD students will receive
reimbursement of 30% of the tuition fees paid for each satisfactorily
completed subject, subject to their having attained an overall pass in
the subject and achieved 80% attendance or above for the subject as
confirmed by the institution. However, the subjects must be essential
for the completion of the YJD programme, and under the programme a
student can only receive tuition fee reimbursement for a maximum of 8
subjects. As the reimbursement is subject-based, students who have failed
in individual subjects are still eligible for fee reimbursement for the other
subjects in respect of which they have attained an overall pass.
Students meeting the assessment and attendance criteria and being
assessed to be eligible for full level or half level of assistance under the
means test administered by the Student Financial Assistance Agency
(SFAA) are eligible for 100% or 50% reimbursement of the tuition fees paid
for each satisfactorily completed subject.
