General Motors (GM) board viewed and vetted an email from Fiat Chrysler (FCAU) offering to discuss a
merger and decided to pass.
According to reports, Receptos (RCPT) rejected a $200/share offer from AstraZeneca (AZN).
Per Reuters, Diebold (DBD) is in talks about a possible acquisition of its troubled German rival Wincor
Nixdorf
The Treasury Department auctioned $24B in 3-Year Notes at a high yield of 1.125%
EIA raised its 2015 forecasts for West Texas Intermediate crude prices and U.S. oil production. The agency
said it expects WTI prices to average $55.35 a barrel this year and the output to come in at 9.43 million
barrels a day. Brent crude is forecast at $60.53 this year.
