As part of the planning of yourschool, your principal needs to calculate the index
number for water consumption by the students in year 2024 based on the year 2014.

PART 2/ BAHAGIAN 2:
Your school would like you to do a feasibility study on rainwater harvesting system. You are
to use information such as the dimension of your school buildings, the water consumption of
your school and any other related information to decide which type of water tank is the best
for your school.

REFLECTION/ REFLEKSI
According to the newspaper cutting above (NATION The Star, Wednesday 7 May 2014), a
person uses an average of 212 l of pipe water daily. The government would like to reduce that
to 180 litres daily. Represent your response or feelings on water conservation creatively
through the usage of words, poems, symbols, illustrations, drawing or even in a song.
