Prtigas para sujetar conductores

Wire holding sticks
Las prtigas para sujetar conductores se utilizan en lneas energizadas o en cercana de
ellas para formar, doblar y ubicar cables de puentes y sostener conductores durante un
empalme. Esta herramienta puede manejar conductores de 4 a 38 mm. de dimetro.
La forma de sujetar conductores de esta herramienta es similar a la de una pinza.
Girando la tuerca moleteada de la palanca de control y moviendo la palanca hacia
abajo, las mordazas pueden ubicarse sujetando fuertemente al conductor. La cabeza
de la herramienta se puede situar en tres diferentes posiciones, de manera tal que el
liniero puede enganchar y posicionar conductores desde casi cualquier ngulo.
Asimismo la cabeza de esta herramienta posee un ojo si se requiere la ayuda de otra
prtiga en operaciones con conductores duros.
Wire-holding sticks are used on or around energized lines for forming, bending and
positioning jumper wires; and for holding conductors during splicing operations. This tool
handles from 3/16 to 1 1/2 conductors in diameter. The wireholding stick grip is like
lockingtype pliers. By tightening the knurled nut and pushing down the level at the control
lever, the wireholding jaws can be positioned to firmly grip the conductor. The head of the tool
locks in three stop positions so that the lineman can engage and position conductors easily
from most angles. Also the head of the tools is equipped with an eye so that other sticks can
assit with heavy bending.

All-angle cog wrench
La llave dentada todo ngulo permite al liniero trabajar en partes de la instalacin energizadas.
Mediante el mango se mantiene la prtiga y la pieza dentada estable y en su lugar, mientras que
girando la prtiga se ajusta o afloja la tuerca. El ngulo de la cabeza puede ser ajustado en un
rango de 140. Esta herramienta es de VITROPOX de 39 mm. de dimetro y con una varilla de
control de 10 mm. El mango es de fundicin de aluminio, la cabeza es de bronce y los engranajes
de acero.
The all-angle cog wrench permits the lineman to work on energized hardware. The handgrip steadies the
tool and holds the cog housing in place while the pole is rotated, turning the cog to engage the wrench on
the nut or bolt. The angle of the wrench head in relation to the handle is adjustable within a range of 140
degrees. This VITROPOX hot line tool is 1 1/2 in diameter with a 3/8 diameter fiberglass control rod.
The handgrip is aluminum alloy, the cog housing is bronze alloy and the gears are hardened steel. The
square drive is 1/2 inch.

Prtiga con cabezal para tomar fusibles, conectores premoldeados y otros elementos con tensin,
de hasta 85 mm. de dimetro. El cabezal posee unas mandbulas orientables que le otorgan la
