3RD YEAR- 1ST SEM
Generals aims: The goal of the ORL program, lectures, seminars and the
inurement, is to prepare the student about the knowledge , treatment of
ORL pathologies that are confronted mostly in the daily practice as a
physician, and in a special order for those pathologies where it is needed
differential diagnosis with different problems that are part of the dentistry
area.
During the seminars and inurements students will be known about the
main ways to diagnose these pathologies and some of the hospital,
surgical proper treatment.
Program of lectures
1- Clinical anatomy of: external middle inner(labyrinth) ear. His
relations with Temporomandibular Joint and Zygomatic bone.
Physiology of Hearing.
2- Vertiginous pathology Meniere neurologic disease, neuronitis
vestibularis, BPPV, otosclerosis. Diagnoza dif me patologjite
centrale. Sindromi Costen.
3- Diseases of the external ear; external otitis, ototmycosis, eczema,
haematoma and perichondritis of external ear, the external ear
canals trauma and tympanic membranes trauma , herpes zoster
oticus, Temporomandibular-Joints trauma.
4- Acute middle otitis. Chronic middle otitis.
5- Noses anatomy and physiology. Acute and chronic rhinitis,
allergic rhinitis, noses trauma.
6- Acute and chronic sinusitis. Sinusitis complications. Epistaxis
7- Clinical anatomy of: mouth and pharynx. Diseases of the
oropharynx. Adenoid vegetation. Orthodontic realations
8- Infections of the deep tissues. Acute tonsillitis, peritonsillar and
retropharyngeal abscess.
9- Anatomy and physiology of: larynx. Inflammatory diseases of
larynx.
10- Larynxs tumors. Tracheotomia. Foreign troops in respiratorys

Program of inurements;
1- Clinical anatomy of: external middle inner(labyrinth) ear.
Examination of the ear. M. Meniere, neuronitis n. vestibularis,
BPPV.
2- Diseases of the external ear. The ears and external ear canals
trauma and tympanic membranes trauma, ear erysipela,
perikondritis, Herpes Zoster Oticus, External otitis.
3- Middle Ear.Efusion
4- Purulent middle otitis.
5- Anatomy and physiology of: Nose, Acute rhinitis, chronic rhinitis,
allergic rhinitis. Nose erysipela, nose furunculus, nosess trauma.
Haematoma and abscess of nasal septum.
6- Acute and chronic sinusitis. Odontogenesis sinusitis. Sinusitis
complications. Headaches and neuralgia facialis.
11- Acute and chronic tonsillitis. Adenoid Vegetation. Peritonsillar
and retropharyngeal abscess.
7- Ludwigs angina. Pharynxs trauma. Malign tumor of oropharynx.
8- Anatomy and physiology of: Larynx. Egzaminimi i laringut.
Polyps and nodus of larynx. Acute laryngitis catarrhal, laryngitis
subcordal, acute epiglottitis and acute laryngotracheobronchitis .
9- Larynx trauma, tracheotomia dhe coniotomie. Larynx cancer. .
Foreign troops in respiratorys pathways. Os, Pharynx Ezophagus
burns.
