We are offering what is probably currently the best and most comprehensive diagnostic system for
commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses.
Truck and commercial vehicle diagnosis is innately rather more versatile and even more in-depth
than it is for automobiles. Along with pure reading of error codes, customers want a variety of
features. TEXA diagnostic devices are right at the cutting edge. A very large vehicle cover and
much greater diagnostic depth makes this truck diagnostic system extremely sophisticated.

Todays vehicles are fitted with very sophisticated systems, networks and electronic structures that
make workshop work increasingly challenging. Vehicle diagnostic tools are essential for being able
to conduct even the simplest maintenance and repair operations. The assistance networks linked
to a specific vehicle manufacturer can use the instruments supplied by the Manufacturer, but
independent workshops must have the aid of instruments able to interact with a vast range of
vehicle models and makes (due to the number of cars, motorcycles and trucks that are launched
each year). Texa monitoring instruments perfectly respond to this requirement thanks to the high
efficiency potential of the update system and the sending of information and technical bullettins,
made available to clients. It should also be pointed out that Texa tools are extremely easy to use,
thanks to the standardization of operations regardless of the brand and model, which allow time
and resource savings.
Texa has developed the software IDC3, integrated in Axone 3 Mobile in the version IDC3 Plus,
that features a new operating environment in which instruments and information are linked together
quickly and easily. To start navigating, select the model of the vehicle to be inspected, or the
registration number if the vehicle has been stored previously. This selection then governs all
subsequent options so that the unit only displays information and diagnostic functions that
specifically refer to the make and model of the vehicle selected. At this stage the operating
environment presents a series of options related to the various functions. These can be accessed
directly and include:
the exhaust gas analyser (for petrol engines);
model-specific functions for resetting service and airbag warning lights
diesel emission test;
battery, charging and ignition system test;
configuration functions for keys and remote controls.
Next, when the specific electronic system has been defined (e.g. the ABS ECU), the autodiagnostic tool designed to communicate with the specific system will be ready, along with the
oscilloscope to perform the specific tests.
If a problem related to the engine management has been found, the operator selects the make,
model and electronic injection system to display details of:
technical bulletins, if available, describing how to solve the problem;
detailed wiring diagrams of the system and all components used by the ECU;
the location of the various system components;
the technical datasheets with reference data and test procedures for each component used.
Texa has also developed a procedure to managing estimates and spare parts orders. Usual
suppliers can be queried about the availability of spare parts simply by filling in a ready-made form,
and additionally a photo of the part concerned can be sent by fax or e-mail using the document
automatically generated by the program.
The Axone 3 Mobile is an easy-to-use and versatile solution that can be connected to the vehicle in
3 different ways:
using cables making direct use of the modules inserted in Axone 3 Mobile;
using Bluetooth wireless technology connecting to Navigator Mobile for auto-diagnosis;
using Bluetooth wireless technology connecting to Tribox Mobile for auto-diagnosis and
additional diagnostic modules.

The Axone 3 Mobile embodies electronic excellence and the most advanced technological
solutions, from the touch-screen navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and GSM communication
system, which are all included as standard features.
The Axone 3 Mobile thus represents the most advanced form of integration between a diagnostic
tool and technical information, which is an essential requirement in the new era of diagnostics.
Exhaust gas analyzers
In recent decades, the number of circulating motor vehicles in Italy, like the rest of Europe and the
world, has increased drastically, with a consequential rise in air pollution levels. This calls for a
greater sensitivity of public opinion concerning the emissions from vehicles and action regarding
the monitoring of the exhalations, in order to prevent them from increasing the extent of pollution in
the air.
Maintenance and control of car, motorcycle and truck exhaust fumes are useful instruments for
verifying the health of engines and keeping them in good conditions.
Exhaust gas analysis therefore has the two-fold function of keeping both the air and the vehicle in
good shape. Bearing this in mind, Texa has developed a complete range of gas analysis products.
Exhaust gas analyzer checks for petrol and diesel engines are performed using analysis chambers
designed and manufactured directly in our research laboratories and workshops.
