AIRCRAFT EXTERIOR

Was general condition of the airframe clean and in good condition with legible markings and no apparent corrosion or presence of ice, snow, frost?

Was the airframe without apparent corrosion or presence of ice, snow,

Were the external markings, seals, operating instructions of passenger and


cargo doors and hatches in operational condition?

Did the wings, vertical and horizontal stabilizers, including all flight control surfaces show no obvious damage, corrosion, disbonding, evidence of
lightning strikes, dents, looseness of fittings or missing static discharges?

Did the wheels, brakes and tires show no indications of damage, wear and
signs of tire under-inflation?

Was the undercarriage properly lubricated without indications of leakage &


corrosion and wear on door fittings and hinges?

Were the wheel wells clean and without leakage or corrosion?

Were th intake & exhaust nozzle areas without damage, cracking, dents
and loose/missing fasteners or obvious damage to sensors, jet pipe nozzle,
exhaust, or thrust reversers?

Were fan blades (if applicable) without indications of foreign object damage,
cracks, cuts, corrosion or erosion?

Were the propellers (if applicable) and their anti/deicing equipment without
indications of corrosion, looseness of blades in hub, erosion or stone damage?

Were all previous structural repairs in satisfactory condition and in compliance to standard practices?

Was the aircraft without obvious unassessed and unrecorded damage,


including corrosion, lightning strike damage, and bird strikes?
