Studio Manager:
I am sending this resume to be considered for the Photography Production
Position.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film from California State University
Fullerton, 2007 and attended New York University for 35 mm Cinematography in
2006. I managed the equipment rooms of both departments (film and
photography) providing assistance to professors with their undergraduate
programs in various aspects of dark room photography, studio lighting, 16mm
production, video production, and editing. While in school I began working on
films, tv, and commercials in camera, grip, and electric.
During the same time I began receiving commissions to shoot portrait,
documentary, and fashion from magazines all over the world. I have produced
shoots for Dazed, Vman, LA Times, Paper, Spin, Lurve, and several others. My
fine art practice of installation, photography, sculpture, video, and painting has
lead me to produce exhibitions in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and South Mexico.
I have over 10 years of Photoshop experience, Canon/Nikon DSLRs, color
correcting, and Mac computers. I understand dark room printing, digital printing,
high resolution scanning, studio and location lighting. I am experienced with
producing, scheduling, invoicing, social media, and lifting heavy loads. I quickly
learn camera and technology systems.
I have a high capacity of visual knowledge that few have and understand the
critical nature of commercial photography. I am looking for a position that utilizes
my skills where I can grow as a professional.
Thank you for your consideration.
