FEAST OF SAINTS PETER AND PAUL: JULY 12th
DIVINE LITURGY will be celebrated on both holydays
beginning at 10 AM.
APOSTLE FAST ends on Saturday July 11th.
CONGRATULATIONS: On Friday July 17th the son of
Matushka Donnalynn and Protodeacon John Morvay, and
former member of our parish, Daniel Morvay will be joined in
Holy Matrimony to Elizabeth Mary Lenowicz in Babylon, New
York at Saint Josephs Roman Catholic Church.
Congratulations to Protodeacon John, Matushka Donnalynn,
and his brother Michael Morvay on this joyous occasion. May
God Grant to Daniel and Elizabeth Mary, prosperity, good
health and blessings for Many Happy and Blessed Years!

18TH ALL American Council of the Orthodox Church in

America: Very Reverend Archpriest Father John, Matushka
Ludmila, and Protodeacon John Morvay will be representing
our parish at this SOBOR the week of July 20th and returning
on Friday July 24th. This SOBOR is held every three years and
will be held this year in Atlanta, Georgia. Please remember all
the faithful of our diocese who will be traveling to Atlanta to
meet and discuss various issues that will benefit the future of
our beloved diocese.
GENERAL CONFESSION: Please be reminded that the
service of General Confession will be held on the first Sunday
of the month. This will begin again on Sunday July 5th at
9:30AM. Also please be reminded that Father John is available
for personal confession before the Divine Liturgy at 9 AM.
AIR CONDITIONING: Summer is fast approaching! Along
with the beautiful and hazy days of summer come the rising
costs of air conditioning the church. If you can help to defray
the costs of electricity please see Matushka Ludmila at the
candle desk. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
HAPPY 4th of JULY: As the summer season gets into full swing
please remember that or church is open for services each and
every Sunday. Divine Liturgy is still celebrated at 10 AM every
Sunday. So please make an effort to be with us and participate
in the Divine Liturgy before going to those family picnics or
other activities on a particular Sunday during the summer
months.
NEWSLETTER SPONSORS: WE have a few months still
available for sponsors for the monthly newsletter. The cost has

risen but we have had not many sponsors for this project. As
you can see this month doesnt have a sponsor. Its not too late
to become a sponsor. Cost for a sponsorship is only $50.00.
Please let Matushka Ludmila know if you would like to
sponsor a month.
SUMMER PROJECTS: This summer we have a few major
projects that will be taking place in and around our church this
summer. Most notably will be the fixing of the retaining wall
that holds up our church. In order to do this we need to hire an
architect and then get approval from Jackson Township to
proceed with the reconstructing of this wall. Due to the fact
that this involves getting permits to move forward the cost of
this project is steadily increasing. In total we are looking at a
price tag of over $35,000. Renovation phase two will be
completed from last year as we still need to get the church
floors refurbished and new carpeting runners. Money from last
years Campaign will cover these costs. A Campaign Letter will
be sent out this month for the wall. Please help us raise the
money needed for this project.
DIOCESAN GREAT ADVENTURE DAY: Our Diocesan Day
at Great Adventure will be held on August 20th. Please save the
date so that we can have representation from our parish. The
Parish will pick up the cost of all who want to attend this great
day at the park that begins in our parish home with breakfast
on August 20th.
RAISE YOUR VOICES: You are encouraged to join in and
sing the Our Father on Sundays with Protodeacon John.
