On completion of the internship, students should be able to

Project supervision: The student will work
under the guidance of a supervisor from the
organization and a faculty advisor of the
department

Guidelines for the choice of organization


The organization can be a public / private
sector company in any industry
If private sector company is chosen, following
criterion should be fulfilled
Number of employees 100
Company should have well defined
organization structure
Company must have all functional departments
Company must be in existence for the past 5
years

Procedure of obtaining Internship:


i. The faculty advisor will provide a support
letter to the student for the application.
ii. Students must provide a copy of the offer
letter to the faculty advisor.
iii. Once the organisation is fixed, students
should not change the organisation

Visits:
A member of the academic staff may visit the
organization during the period of their
internship/ or may interact with the
organisational supervisor.
Interaction with Faculty advisor:
The student shall maintain frequent contacts
with the faculty advisor, through e-mails.
Failure to contact will detain the eligibility of
the student in attending the Viva Voce.

findings, suggestions

Code of Conduct
i. Remember the values of KCT. BS Learning, Trust and
Competence. Exhibit it at all times in the organisation.
ii. Adhere to the Rules and Regulations/Code of
Conduct of the institution and the terms of the project
with the company.
iii. You are required to observe and follow the
corporate culture of the company. You should always
present yourself at all times as a respectable employee of the
company. Perform all required job tasks related to internship
as efficiently as possible.
iv. You should inform the Company and the Faculty
immediately of any sickness or accident if occurs during the
internship period.

v. Complete the Daily Log on a daily basis, and at the end of


every week, obtain your supervisors signature to verify the
contents of the Daily Log. Keep the duly completed and signed
Daily Log in a safe place for future submission to the faculty
advisor.
vi. Give the Company Evaluation form to your organisation
supervisor and get it duly filled.

You are required to report to work on all


working days. In case of any emergency you shall inform

are required to inform the faculty advisor/ Organisational
Supervisor.
