What is E.Q.?
-Emotional Quotient
-EQ actually stands for Emotional Intelligence Quotient. Much like an intelligence
quotient, or IQ, an EQ is said to be a measure of a person’s emotional intelligence.
However, there is much debate surrounding the legitimacy of a definition of emotional
intelligence quotient, primarily because there is no standard against which it can be
measured.
- Self-Awareness
- Control over Impulses
- Sociability
Anger relates to the wood element that includes the organs of the liver and gall bladder,
the muscular system and the immune system.
Fear is the emotion of the water element and has specific relation to the kidney and
bladder organs, the central nervous system, reproductive system, and endocrine
system.
Worry affects the earth element that relates specifically to the stomach, spleen &
pancreas.
Grief relates to the air / metal element that specifically affects the lungs and large
intestine
Joy is the energy of the five elements that affects the heart, circulatory system and small
intestine. This Sadness is ‘heartache’ or depression, as opposed to grief (that is grieving
over something specific).
-Is practical forms of practical and creative intelligence. This "new" intelligence is
the heart-level engine that drives human capital and produces the exceptional, creative
work required for any company to lead the field amidst the turbulence and confusion of
global market changes. In this note, we attempt to understand Emotional Intelligence.
