Each student will be allotted a company

and will analyze the financial position
of that company for three years by using
common size statement analysis and
ratio analysis.
The student is required to submit the
report based on the analysis after
considering the following aspects:
INTRA- FIRM ANALYSIS- Using
Common Size Analysis answer the
following questions:
Q-1. How the company has performed
compared to the last year?
Q-2. How the company has performed
compared to Competitors?
Q-3. Is the company performance in
line with expectations?
INTER- FIRM ANALYSIS- The
Ratio Analysis will be focused on
answering the following questions:
Q-1. Do we make the appropriate use of
assets that we hold?
Q-2. Do we make the appropriate use of
human resource that we have?
Q-3. Do the speed of conversion of
stock to sales is appropriate?
Q-4.Do we collect from debtors
efficiently?
OVERALL ANALYSIS: On the
basis of above analysis as well as using
other relevant information (like
referring to the annual statement of the
