Summer outreach 2015

Once again, Gateway has had the opportunity to share about the ministry and present the gospel
to hundreds of teens at local health fairs. Here we are at City Fest Elizabeth, a part of the
outreach of Luis Palau.

Nancys story

Sharing Jesus with a Muslim

Nancy is 17. Her boyfriend John is also

17. She plans to attend college on a
volleyball scholarship. John also is
headed to college. She is seven weeks
pregnant and scared. Both were
unsure about their decision. They are
seriously considering abortion. We
showed them The Harder Truth video.
We challenged them to carry the baby
to term and perhaps place for
adoption. We gave them the gospel and
are praying that they decide to carry
this baby to term. Please pray with us
on this.

Cynthia is a 35 year old married woman.

She is a Muslim. She visited Gateway for
some baby items. Her child is due early
next month.
Gateway volunteer Rosemarie shared
Christ with her and prayed for her.
Cynthia was very receptive. We gave her
a Bible. Please pray that the message of
salvation through Christ alone speaks to
her heart.

Anniversary

During the long, hot summer months giving to our

ministry is often insufficient to meet all our needs,

especially payroll. This year will be no exception.
As you may know, our mailbox in Irvington was
recently compromised. We have had all our mail forwarded to. All future gifts to the ministry
should be secure. We are following up on this incident with the postal police in Newark.

with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in him,
according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Irene, age 34, came to Gateway with a friend
17 years ago. She then moved to Alabama.
Now that she is pregnant, she revisited us in
May. Her boyfriend is 52 years old.
Although she stated she is a Muslim, she
listened intently as Rosemarie shared the
gospel with her. She also accepted a Bible
from us. Pray that she trust Christ as Savior
and Lord.

Fanwood Knitters and Crochetters group meeting at the

public library donated handmade blankets to the
ministry. We had the privilege to once again share the
gospel with them.

Our next training is September 10, 12, 17

and 19 at our Irvington headquarters. Let us
