The company name VERA SOPHIA EDUCATIONAL SERVICES (VSES) which came from
the Latin word vera, which means truth, knowledge or wisdom and sophia which means love. It was
the brilliant concept of one of the proponents adviser, Prof. Jennette Julian Lozano of Pamantasan
Ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
The name itself signifies the heart of the learning center which is the inculcation of the love
for self development by engaging ones self to educational activities.

Location of the Firm


Vera Sophia Educational Services (VSES) is located at Block 5, Lot 55 and 57, Ruby St.
Goldlane Subdivision, Anabu 2nd, Imus, Cavite.

Market Aspect
There has been an estimated ____% unsatisfied demand based on the survey. Presently Vera
Sophia has one competitor in the subdivision so it has a market share of around 50%.
The target market consists of Classes A, B, and C, ages 3-16, both male and female from different
grade or year in the elementary and high school levels residing at Anabu 2nd
which has a population of ______ that is projected to continuously increase by 5% every year from
2011 to 2016.

The service will be assured to have a high-standard quality to satisfy the preference of the
customers. The cost of _______ will be the basis for the competitive pricing of the service.
Therefore, the services that will be offered are competitively positions as an affordable and highstandard quality service.
The ___________ will make use of discount cards for siblings; free ____ and ____ advertising as its
promotional tool.

Management Aspect

The form of management used in this study is _______________, for the reasons of having
__________ share of capital requirements, rights and responsibilities in the company.

Legal permits and licences needed are from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC),
Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Municipality of Imus, and the office of Barangay Anabu 2nd,
Imus, Cavite.

The labor requirements consist of four (4) employees: two (2) teachers,
cashier/records/supplies office staff (1), and maintenance/carpenter/driver staff.

Technical Aspect

Vera Sophia Educational Services (VSES) caters educational services by offering short-term
learning programs; and production of instructional materials in CDs.

Financial Aspect
The Php ________ operating cash requirement shall be obtained from the equal shares of the
proponents. This amount will be used for establishing the business and for its contingency plans
which might need a financial source.

The capital is reasonably small relative to the projected profits, where a 10% increase in the
projected sales is observed up to the fifth year.

Socio-Economic Aspect
The firm shall generate employment opportunities, provide just salaries, wages and gainful
employment, make purchasing power increase, stimulate demands for other services and promote
the establishment and growth of other industries. Thus, employment absorption will be accelerated
and an improved standard of living will be offered to the society.
Moreover, the firms payment of mayors permit and taxes and the employees payment of a portion of
their taxable income will contribute to the municipal and national governments community
development programs.

will be feasible or not.

The proponents will also attempt to answer the specific questions in each aspect of this
feasibility study.

This study aims to determine the feasibility of establishing VERA SOPHIA EDUCATIONAL
SERVICES at Imus, Cavite.
Specifically, the proponents are focused on the attainment of the objectives of each aspect of
the study.

Marketing Aspect:
1. To determine the firms target market.
2. To determine the size and development of the demand for the service provided.
3. To know the competitive positioning in the fashion industry.
4. To arrive at an effective marketing program at a reasonable cost.
5. To identity pricing structure as appropriate for the service provided.

Management Aspect:
1. To distinguish what appropriate form of organization to adopt.
2. To properly accomplish the legal requirements needed.
3. To segment and distribute workers duties and responsibilities.
4. To determine the qualifications needed.

Research Design
The proponents used the descriptive method wherein a survey was utilized in a random basis of
five (5) Barangays at Imus, Cavite. The survey questionnaire was prepared and checked thoroughly
to make sure that it will provide information which will be beneficial for our study. The secondary data
were taken from books, magazines, newspapers, websites and other selected studies.
Research Locale
The intended respondents geography was at Imus, Cavite. The study focuses at Anabu 2nd,
Imus, Cavite.
Sampling Design
The proponents applied the sampling of distribution, in order to arrive with the precise estimate of
the possible customers perception or reaction about the study.
Computation of Sample Size
Based on the total household population of Anabu 2nd Imus, Cavite, the proponents come up
with the sample size using the Slovins Formula. The computations are as follows:

The proponents utilized questionnaires for collecting primary data from the respondents to effectively

Treatment of Data
The data gathered by the proponents were analyzed, examined and interpreted carefully. The
method of presentation used is the tabular and graphical method, which are moist commonly used in
