Jesus spoke the Word of God throughout his ministry.

When faced with the devil's lies and temptations, he

countered with the truth of God's Word. The spoken Word of God is like a living, powerful sword in our mouths
(Hebrews 4:12), and if Jesus depended upon it to face challenges in life, so can we. If you need encouragement
from God's Word to overcome your fears, take strength from these fear-busting Scriptures about courage.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We

struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus
may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so
that his life may be revealed in our mortal body.
