B. Internalize and carry out the importance of music in our lives.
C. Write a composition about the types of Japanese traditional music.

are free to sing this, if you did not, just feel the message of this
song to our Lord Jesus.

Gagaku is the oldest music and dance in existence in Japan


and it means "elegant music".

accompanying the dance.

Ritual Music Chinto Ceremonies are differ from the other


two in that it is performed only for religious purposes.

The three categories of Gagaku are Instrumental ensemble


or kangen, Dance music or bugaku and the last one is Ritual
music for Chinto Ceremonies.

instruments, the Dance music played with instruments with

Nohgaku is an ancient dances with music that added the


kyogen-a form of comedy, ningyo- jojuri- a form of puppet
show and kabuki- is the traditional theater, represent the
traditional Japanese drama.

Class the kyogen, ningyo-jojuri, and the kabuki serve as the


support of Nohgaku to make it powerful and interesting.

Okay, there are two elements of Nohgaku. Mr/Ms______,

The two elements of Nohgaku are Vocal And instrumental.

The Vocal performed by an actor and eight male singers
who narrate the story.

The instrumental or hayashi is performed by the nohkan, a
bamboo flute and three drums.
The first one is producing voices and the other one is
playing instruments.

Ko-utay or literally "small song" is the name given to


modern short songs including Folk song.

The Naga-utay or "long song" were incorporated into the
kabuki,which has then risen into fashion and gaining
gradually in length.
Class, for clarification the ko-uta is short song while the
naga-uta is a long song that have some improvement in
fashion.

na na na. And after that i will compose the lyrics that fit on

The composition is depends on the events and dance.
The third one is dramatic composition which explain to the

Koto played either solo or in an ensemble and accompany


singers. An ivory or plastic plectra called tsume is worn on
fingers to pluck rhe stings.

This is a string instruments. Who knows the movie of


Kung-fu hasel?

In that movie , they use the koto as a weapon, when they


play it. Everytime they pluck it,there's a knife that goes out
to kill the enemy.Do you remember it?

It is a wind instrument.

Kakko- a kind of drum, with two ends made of membrane,


played with two sticks on each end.

Class this is a percussion.
