FOOTBALL CLINIC
KICKING SKILL

ORGANIZED BY

SK KOLOMBONG FOOTBALL
CLUB
INTRODUCTION
Football or soccer is one of the most played and watched team sports all
over the world. It is such a popular sports that almost every state in this world
have their own national football team.
In terms of age, this sport attracts everyone to play this sport regardless
of their age, race and even gender. Not to mentioned the diehard fans of this
game that seems to exists everywhere around the world. Nowadays football has
become a institution and also an industry of its own with its capabilities to
generate money out of television advertisement, billboard commercial, match
ticket price, collectors items and many other thinkable items that can be sold to
fans of this sport. Millions of football fans rush to the stadiums each time there is
a major match and for those who can not make it, the television set will be the
next best thing.
In terms of career, professional footballer who are playing in major league
and are getting paid handsomely by their club or by companies that wish to use
them for their advertisement or simply because these companies want to
sponsor these professional players for their skills.
Out of this awareness, we have resolved that it is about time to organize a
football clinic for children between the age of 10-12 years old. We strongly
believe that the awareness that we have should be shared to make our younger
generation to be aware of their potential as well as to be able to see the
potential that this sport can offer them.

Background
Everything must have a basic into it, this will be the scaffolding bones that
will surely place everything at the correct place and thus make it last long. This
principle applies not only in life but also in playing football. The basic
fundamental of football should be instil in each of those who wished to play
football to ensure that they can grow in their football skill progressively. It has
come to our concern that to create this awareness we must start at the early
childhood stage. This not only will help them as they become a matured player
but also to have a good grip of basic football skill as they grow up. We are also
aware that primary school children have less opportunity to learn football skills in
a systematic way that caters their psychomotor development. Children at the
primary school lacks the opportunity to learn basic skills such as kicking skill

unless the school itself has a teacher who has the skills to train these children.
This is main reason why we have decided to organize a football clinic in SK
Kolombong, Kota Kinabalu.
This school is selected due to the fact that this school has a good facilities
and that the school children of this school are in need of coaching for their basic
football skills. This school is located in a housing and industrial area therefore
there is no facility such as a decent field for them to play football. It is only right
that a football clinic is to be conducted in this school in order to expose to these
children the basic of football skills.
OBJECTIVES
1. To expose to the school children football skills in a correct and systematic
way.
2. To create interest towards playing football among school children as a
whole and to SK Kolombong specifically.
3. To expose to the participants about practice techniques, nutritious
aspects, disciplines and mental preparation of a football player.
4. To build a good and strong repo with school administrative, Parents and
Teachers Associations and the surrounding community.

TARGET GROUP
The target group of this football clinic are Sk Kolombong pupils, between
the age of 10 to 12 years old. However, this it is also open for school children of
the same age range from other neighbouring school of school children from the
nearby housing area. Estimated number of participants is 60 pupils.

BUDGET
It is estimated that this project will need around RM2000.00 which will cover
necessities such as football, participants food and drinks, certificates and token
of appreciation to the 7 coaches.

SOURCE OF INCOME
After much discussion, it is finalized that the source of income of this project will
come from the sources below:1. Participation Fee of RM15.00 per person
