HOW TO USE THIS PACKET
All of the pages in this activity are set up in an age appropriate sequence.
Start with all of the straight lines for all ages (Prek-1st grade).
As your child is able to cut each line with minimal jagged edges or cuts off the line,
move on to the circle, square, and triangle shapes.
The heart shapes and on are designed for KG age and up.
Optional Ideas:
- Print out each page on card stock thick paper. This provides a harder challenge for
your student. Also children who try to cut too fast, will be forced into slowing down in
order to cut through the paper.
- Print on regular paper and then glue onto construction paper for the same effect as
mentioned above.
- Print on regular paper and glue onto foam sheets for even more of a challenge!

Print out and cut down the center, dashed line. This page is designed for children who are just
learning to use scissors and may not be able to hold an entire piece of paper and cut across this.
