1.Nessy, Messy. "The Reality of Celebrity Photoshop: Before And After." Messy Nessy Chic.
N.p., 12 Oct. 2010. Web. 22 July 2015.
Website: www.messynessychic.com
This website is relative because it gives you examples of photoshop pictures of celebrities.
Celebrities are idolized and some people have a low self esteem because they dont weigh a
certain weight or look like anyone in a magazine. This will help to show that every isn't perfect
and even celebrities have flaws.
2. Davulura, Kayva. "Retouched America." DL Magazine. N.p., 3 June 2014. Web. 22 July
2015.
Website: www.dlmagazine.org
This website is also about photoshop. The difference with this website is that it highlights how to
your own beauty. You don't have to look a certain way or look like anyone to be beautiful. I think
we should use this at the end of our presentation to make our audience feel confident and to
ignore the influence of how media wants us to look.
3. "My Story: Struggling, Bullying, Suicide, Self Harm." YouTube. YouTube, 9 Sept. 2012. Web.
24 July 2015.
Website: www.youtube.com

This is a video of a teenage girl telling her bullying story. Its very emotional and I think we
should use it to target an emotion from our audience. Her bullying got so bad that she started to
hurt herself. This video will show that this is real and it is a real problem. The video of her story
is about nine minutes long so we cant show the whole thing in our presentation.
4."Bullying and Suicide." - Bullying Statistics. N.p., n.d. Web. 22 July 2015.
www.bullyingstatistics.org
This website gives us information about the type of bullying and how to handle bullies. We can
use this to inform the audience about different types like cyber, text, school, workplace, namecalling and physical bullying. This will help understand how many different types there are and
we can add examples of each one. Only thing that I didn't like is that it doesnt state who
conducted the research.
5."13 Celebs You'd Never Guess Were Bullied as Kids." Suggest.com. N.p., n.d. Web. 23 July
2015.
http://www.suggest.com
This article will give us an idea that bullying happens to everyone, including celebrities. We
should look at this with a new angle and explain that it happens to so many people that if we
were to fight it we would have so many supporters. Itll make people who have been bullied not
feel alone and maybe would get encouragement from it. The website didn't give much detail of
the celebrities bullying story which could've been more helpful to relate it

6. Ng, Christina. "Bullied Teen Leaves Behind Chilling YouTube Video." ABC News. ABC
News Network, 12 Oct. 2012. Web. 25 July 2015

http://abcnews.go.com
A month after the teenage girl posted her bullying story on youtube, she committed suicide. Her
story is very touching and proves how extreme bullying can be. Amanda Todd was cyber-bullied
so we can use her story to show how damaging what some people say on the internet can do to
someone. The article didn't have much detail about how or where she committed suicide. I wish
it talked about her last few days of living or an interview with her mom about her behavior
around the time it happened.

7. "11 Facts About Teens and Self Esteem." 11 Facts About Teens and Self Esteem. N.p., n.d.
Web. 24 July 2015.
https://www.dosomething.org
This website shows some statistics about teens having low self esteem. We can use this
information and connect it to bullying because a lot of times the people that are bullying others
have a low self esteem. Also we can talk about the negatives of having a low self esteem versus a
healthy one. Another thing we can add in our presentation would be tips for a high self esteem.
The only negative thing about this article is that it doesn't tell who conducted the research or how
many teens were asked.
8. "What Is Cyberbullying." What Is Cyberbullying. N.p., n.d. Web. 25 July 2015.
http://www.stopbullying.gov
I really liked this website, it had everything I wanted to know about cyber-bullying. This is a
form of bullying that affects millions of teens. In 2015 that is the most common form of bullying
due to social media pages like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. This is a good source to use
because the audience is going to be able to relate to having those accounts and Im sure theyve

seen some sort of bullying going on those sites. We can use this to bring light to the issue of
cyberbullying and explain what it is exactly. The only limitation this article had was there weren't
any personal stories.
9. "National Centre Against Bullying." Types of Bullying. N.p., n.d. Web. 23 July 2015
www.ncab.org.
This article talks about the different types of bullying there are. Those include physical, verbal,
hidden and cyber bullying. For each type we can use an example or a scenario that way the
audience can have a clear understanding of what each one is. I didnt like this website too much
because it didn't have a lot of details about each type, it gave a general definition of them. Ill
probably get the general information about different types from here but go somewhere else to
get more details.

10. Gordon, Sherri. "6 Types of Bullying." About Health. N.p., n.d. Web. 24 July 2015.
http://bullying.about.com
This article gave more information about the different types of bullying in good detail. This is
website Im going to refer back to about the different types of bullying. I really like that it talks
about who is mostly targeted for each type of bullying. Only con about this website was that
there weren't any statistics about which type of bullying occurs the most.
