HVAC Inspector Responsibilities:

- Ensure that the Contractor is following safety procedures.


- Inspect installations and constructions and provide feed back to
the SME on quality to ensure compliance of the installation with the
design drawings, specification, MEW, MOC, KFD rules and
regulations.
- Inspect site deliveries/installed/constructed work to ensure
compliance with the shop drawings, specifications and provide feed
back to the SME on quality.
- Issue field observation report and 'none conformance report' (NCR)
to the SME.
- Witness testing and commissioning of Mechanical Installation in
order to ensure that the systems are achieving their intended
performance.
- Snag outstanding/defective minor work for Contractor to action.
- Review 'As Built' drawings and 'Operation and Maintenance
Manuals' to ensure correctness, completeness and that they are inline with the specifications.
- Coordinate and direct the Mechanical contractor in coordination
with other services and finishes.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct inspection of all HVAC materials, equipment, site


construction activities, testing, adjusting and balancing of HVAC
system as per applicable Standards.
Monitor and ensure that all HVAC site activities are conducted in
accordance with approved shop drawing, specification and
installation procedure and material storage procedure is properly
implemented.
Inspection on ducting, lining, insulation of the airconditioning
lines/system.
Prepare and implement inspection and test plan based on project
specifications, codes and standards ASHRAE.
Issue nonconformance report to construction team any violation
of HVAC quality standards. Ensure that corrective actions to any

violation of HVAC quality standards are conducted and verify that all
the action taken fullyconformed with quality requirement.
To monitor the construction works to ensure compliance of quality
standards of HVAC system.
Inspection & installation of HVAC equipments Refrigeration/ air
conditioning equipments like compressors, condensers,
evaporators, fans and control systems;
Complete Assembling Installation, testrunning, precommissioning
& Commissioning of air conditioning equipments.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Complies with the highest level of safety during all stages of work
to avoid any type of incidents and or accidents. Take reasonable
care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
2. Complies with all statutory requirements connected with the
implementation of project.
